could be true I have been amazed by good traders on FF ,read things like a book .
in the end of the day if you have high fundamental knowledge its great for the majority I think stick to tech ,

I think other factors like the recent Canadian data has to be taken into account too. Numbers were too bad to push the USD down. Maybe to be more precise, I think it is more the import of oil from Canada that has an impact than the general price for Crude.

just I see news already in a chart all the time how is this possible

Bank traders trade on order flow mainly and make money on the spread.
Retail traders on the other hand are way better technical analysts than bank traders because that's all they got.

btw, one can do technical analysis on the fundamentals as well.....

I firmly believe that when you are in charge of several billion, you are not reading daily charts, but monthly - at the very least - and which is backed up with very thorough analysis of underlying fundamental aspects. Indeed, at the big money levels, you are the fundamentals, to some extent, and do have a say at policy level... if for no reason other than to remind of the fall outs that can come from poorly co-ordinated policies. And I think this is now at international level. Indeed, closer inspections of the chaps at the top will reveal that a great many are sitting in governmental seats, but have their roots in the financial institutions that they are so set on protecting... one needs a job after leaving official office.

For most of us here, we are trading what to the fund managers etcetera, is noise upon their much larger timeframes. Hence why I try to absorb as much of the, currently, depressing funnies, as I can.

The test accounts in my TE are Automated traders. Run for the sole purpose of comparison. Read through any one of the threads I have created for these sole purposes.

I don't compare dick sizes...no point...

no matter they are fundamentals and sentiment, they have to show up in the charts as a price trace. When they show up in the charts as a price trace, they become technically visible.
