now the question is will this GBP data get better. like 6% unemployment and retail sales growing at 5%. I don't think so. bulls got excited on slightest of better news. todays news is not fantasttic. expectation was less from the word go.

1.6500 is nearest level to be conquered as support!

i will be looking for possible longs near there in next days!

however, fundamentals are saying we go higher than yearly close 6550.

so eventually price gonna rise further today, 1.66 is good area to scale out longs

to say this is overbought is an understatement. the chart looks like a balloon

price is up over 1500 pips in the last 6 months. thats incorporated all of the news surely.

man (or woman ), if you wnat to trade, never forget to analyze fundamentals. and fundamentals are saying only bullish releases in GBP.
today there was not even 1 single reason for data to come out bad and reverse the chart setup (which says bullish since beginning of week)!
eventually, was possible a weak data outcome, let's say a confirmation of previous data, ending in a 30-40pips drop, maybe 50, then up again >6450.
that's it!

what was not simple was catching the gbp aud and gbp jpy. all other gbp crosses were free money, mainly the GBP CHF which broke 1.50 just yesterday.

don't tell me how to trade. I have collected 800 pips alone on eur/usd in multiple trades. I know what GBP is doing and I won't be surprised if it falls to 1.63
