lol, no im still not a chart man, i started studying them late 2013 after 10yrs not looking at them, still base all of my trades on math

im now working on a simple sentiment trading system, you can check out that thread, i tried building many system outside of my current system an fail, i was told years ago always re-created your self because the world always changes, trading is no diffrent

I just pulled up a gbp/nzd chart ... seems to have had a wide swing today intraday ... nice opportunity for a long on pullback just before ADP...

It being a cross, does it always react to usd news this way.....or more gbp--nzd news?

That's a coincidence, I have been working on a sentiment method myself purely out of curiosity. I'll give yours a look

I still use my segmented / channel method but this market the last 2 years has not been as clear and I'm pretty sure it's because of fed/Govt intervention.

i dont know if you notice but i think all currency pairs react some kind of way to u.s. news dont know why but seems like they do, and yes gbp/nzd average about 200 to 500 pips on a good day

i agree, also most goverment want there currency to be weak or stay at a certain level so intervention is possible

I have noticed that....crosses usually moot to usd news but this pair's response is very pronounced....first impression favorable, I will take a closer look at it... :-)
