Yep. It's these kinds of markets where scalpers can pull in 100+ pips over a few hours.
I'm not a scalper. In fact I hate scalping, but today I managed 60 pips in 5 trades. I feel dirty, but it's money so I'm not complaining.

Seems to me Ben has handed his Market Maker buddies an early Xmas gift before he departs by announcing the taper this week. Most traders are short pound/long $ on the announcement.

However, Technically (at least on my chart), we have broken north of and closed above the multi year descending monthly/weekly TL and have just retested it this very week.

Fundamentally, major currencies have either slashed their rates towards "0" or are in the process of doing so.
The BOE is continuing to sit on their QE hands while the Fed continues to print $75B of mint condition US currency every month.

Further more, large investors around the world are still funnelling their low interest US$ into a roaring (and dividend paying) equity bull market faster than Bandits on speed operating a Money Laundering operation.

I don't see how any of this is $ positive.
