Well, the US holiday has completely killed trading in this pair, I'll be amazed if it moves more than 10 pips from here.

Very much doubt RBA will do anything this round markets have done pretty good job for them but hey never say never. In case of no rate cut expecting a spike 50-80 pips then trend should prevail. Probably RBNZ will cut the rate before RBA.

RBA will leave rates unchanged.

The falling AUD will do the job in the short term.
Even the worst trade can close with profit. Just give it time.

Sure they do and they do it all the time ... they have clients and investors, they also have in house technical and fundamental analysis, which includes trades recommendations! Yes 50 lots = 5 mil units. If 150 pips ($75K) SL included in $38K, account leverage is 1:-131

Edit: you are right, no it doesn't make sense

with such low volatility the only short options worth playing are short strangles etc. which rely on the price not moving much, but these carry unlimited risk and limited profit - so it is not a time for short term options.....

Yep, going to try again on Monday with 3 week options this time. No way would I try the short strangle, not worth the risk imo

Guess it must be position in EUR and margin in USD, + - rounding. Taking all to same ccy. that would be 1:100

really? dont explain it to me. i really didn't/dont care. i just put it out there so others can understand your addition.. your own chart showed the current irt level that agreed with the timeline at post time. at 3449 + 200 is 3649 or 200 pips.. i am sorry to say atm we still haven't got there. fuzzy math is a trend..
