I do not think many people can trade what is suggested by your chart. The two lines deviate since early Nov, and euro even dropped big yesterday. Many people would go broke.

looks like the pound is lifted by yen. the japanese buy everything under the sun with their money printed on toilet paper. Now it is at resistance. Let us see how it develops.

Not to argue with you, because I don't believe this point is really worth arguing since there is clear manipulation by the banksters which has recently been exposed, but I want to clarify that banksters do not need the ECB to intervene in order for them to manipulate ccy exchange rates and lending/borrowing interest rate benchmarks.

I also want to stress that any manipulation by these crooked banksters only has a short term effect. Therefore you cannot blame the higher than acceptable GBP on the banksters. Instead you can blame the idiotic market for misunderstanding the forward guidance by Carney... or you can blame Carney for being a dumbass while choosing his words.

what i hate is the comments that come after someone is losing and the market talk about bias..instead of helping the guy..people choose to frustrate the guy and then say "best wishes"..common!

instead why not show with a chart why perhaps its gone up..so he can learn potentially.
Im concerned but i cant be phased by these b^&tches (just playin)

Weekly charts attached for UJ and GJ. Both just had recent breakout of trendline, but the breakout of GJ is significant. Both are now at major resistance. If the major resistances are broken, UJ next immediate resistance is the weekly high around 104, while GJ next immediate resistance is around 168.5. This would put GU at 168.5/104 = 1.62. That is 1.62!!! So why so many guys worry about it?

Of course this picture can change if the japanese only buy pound instead of the dollar

Bank of England's Dale says 2014 rate rise very unlikely

LONDON (Reuters) - The Bank of England is very unlikely to raise interest rates next year as it wants to see a period of sustained growth first, its chief economist Spencer Dale said on Friday.


"I think it's very unlikely that we will raise Bank rate in 2014. We need to see sustained period of strong growth," Dale said on micro-blogging platform Twitter.

Dale also said the 'knock-out' clauses that could cancel out the BoE's forward guidance were unlikely to be activated "just yet" as wage inflation and housing transactions remain low

Gu in favor & action for bull set up at a top though & so anybody logically can be long but as at a top can be a crush level may come if bull fail any time , temporary , in a correction to actually bull try last for the last leg up before a greater correction again next.So both bull & bear both have the same risk immediately in doing action & join at any level. me only scalping down at this position & pa reacting perfectly here too , one last leg up before the correction or so, further crazy extension up continue,whatever!

Rolling all over 1.6178 is almost a done deal the way things look as of right now...

What remains to be seen is how stops are lined up above there that will tell the story about
how fast or not the break will move levels...

For now enjoy sustained orderly smooth market action....the way it has to be all the time but isn't...
