I have no idea why people take fundamental views ,to me its impossible ,while you focus on speech's /news something comes out form woodwork ,waste of time and very risky to me

I have a thick skin, I'm short gu short geppy, and im short ea. Underwater on gu and geppy, I will be cutting these loose at around 164 in both instances. I will take a big loss if necessary but I won't change my bias now that I am seeing lots of long calls. I think we will agree, long calls are what we want to see.

First solid trade of the week seems to be a buy limit audusd 0.9330-45 , either wih a gap down or a quick push down followed by a rally above 0.9375 !

Consider
the weekly chart, now consolidation pattern for a period of many weeks, rectangle. Either inside the rectangle or breakout to the top or the bottom with breakout targets. More of an institutional view. The flag view... is not valid ()


Daily
Upper level bullish move up towards resistance (no trade) a gamble perhaps. Trend is sideways down, moving off top of channel for fake out to the down side. Or a break and confirmation of 1.160 and then break of 1.6224 and break above 1.626 would then open up the run to 1.6685.

The breaks to the bottom have been noted before... Scalpers beware. This pair is now in long term mode (range is tight)


Trend is down side ways
Above the 50, 200 sma moving average golden cross (technical institutional up trend)

PA is bullish upward at the end of a movement (no trade) 50 sma now shows uptrend (in sideways action)

A break of the weekly to the upside would be in confluence with the macro trends and is the advised view.

A break to the bottom of the range would be a spot too tight and would favour scalpers only.

Hi Jimmy and others
I have been experimenting with BB bands specially 2nd and 3rd Standard Deviations for price reversal points on H4 and daily.
Coupled with RSI 14 70/30 or 80/20 for confluence
I see 1.62 as turning point zone.
Unlike other pairs GU rarely goes into extreme meaning 3rd BB (black line) but stays within 2nd BB (orange line)
I thought theory that price likes to come to mean average based on Andrews pitchfork concept works well with BB's
Anyway I am playing with this. BB fascinates me.

GA is beautifully set for shorts.
Have like 10 of them

Trade safe bro... Looks good

Its a counter balance to my GU shorts. I get more +swap on GA to cover -swap on GU
Now its just matter of waiting.

I know this is not gbpnzd thread, but could someone explain why this happened, or is it some sort of fluke:

Rightmove HPI: Monday, 00:01. This housing inflation indicator is an important gauge of the UK housing market. The index posted a gain of 2.8% in September, marking a five-month high.
10-year Bond Auction: Tuesday, Tentative. 10-year bonds havebeen trading close to 3%, with the average annual yield at the previous auction coming in at 2.74%. No significant change is expected in the November release.
MPC Asset Purchase Facility Votes: Wednesday, 9:30. The breakdown of the MPC vote on QE has been unanimous(9-0) since July. A split votewould show a difference of opinion regarding QEwhichcould lead to some volatility from GBP/USD.
MPCOfficial Bank RateVotes: Wednesday, 9:30. The BOE made no change to the benchmark interest rate, and the markets are expecting the vote to have been unanimous. A split vote would indicate some dissent from the decision not to adjust rates, which could result in volatility from the pair.
Public Sector Net Borrowing: Thursday, 9:30. Public Sector Net Borrowing has been posted two straight deficits, although both of these readings beat their estimates. The deficit is expected to widen to 10.1 billion pounds in October, compared to 9.4 billion the month before.
CBI Industrial Order Expectations: Thursday, 11:00. This important manufacturing index crashed in September, postinga reading of -4 points, compared to 9 points the month before. The markets are expecting a turnaround in October, with an estimate of 0 points in the upcoming release.

Its only momentum which has not exhausted

once exhausted it retreats

If you can hold your short till 1.6220 . then cheers

we may see 1.5700
