One trade today....EJ H1 entered long at LO following a cross of the TDI and a break above the Frankfurt candle. With some banks being closed and little news, it took a long time to reach the TP.

Hello all! One new TMS noob reporting. Just registered here after reading this thread for a while. There's still a lot catching up to do, but I figured why not give it a try. My first reported trade for your amusement. Please feel free to comment. Sorry for the pic, because i use MT4 only for charting purpose not trading.

SHORT GBPUSD 1,59814, STOP 1.59986
1. Daily direction down. Below MBL and recent crossing of RSI and red line (Trade signal line?)
2. H4 cross and MTF TDI indicator all red. Found no resistance at intraday S1

Hi, one more TMS noob here
Learning more and more every day. This was my first day demotrading. I maybe took to many trades? I am sticking to the rules in post 1: TDI cross or bounce trades.
Please check out my trades below and tell me if I have done anything good or bad. +127pips my first day. I am pretty sure it is pure luck for a noob like me.

LFN i can not see where u placed ur stop loss for these trades.

if you trade the H4 you will have quite a big SL (in Pips) compared to a lower timeframe something around 50-100 Pips i would guess. therefor if you take a trade an close it with just 5 pips ur Risk:Reward ratio is somewhere between 10-20:1

so if you have 10 winning trades with 5 Pips u wipe it out with just one loss with 50 Pips.

Thx for your feedback. I am quoting eelfranz about the stoploss:
In regards to stoploss:

I hate S/l trading. If you feel you want it the safest way is to place your S/L at the last hi or low a couple of candles back

I have not set a stoploss on this first trades, I have a lot of pages left reading in this thread but putting the SL at last high or low a couple of candles back might be something I will do. Maybe there has come up some new SL settings to use on the latest 400 pages. ATR7,14/Fractals/ has been discussed for SL. I am sure I will find them when I finish reading the thread.

I am also sticking to the exit rules on page 1 even if it only makes a few pips or even losing pips: Exit your trade when the green TDI line goes flat, starts to hook over or makes a check mark reversal.

Is it some even more effective Entry and Exit rules developed lately?

One trade from last night

Was too late for EJ trade so found this one on NZDUSD.
Took it as a TDI bounce trade, also break of the green pull back candle.
Initial stop 25pips. Set alarm to wake me when it reached the support area marked in blue..
Took profit, 25pip after second test of support but not breaking.

Hello, Sir

I took the same one but exited a bit early. I believe many people took the same one. It was relatively easier trade... Thank you.
By the way, how's going on your Gold trade? Made a good progress?

Hello ! I enjoy trading the 1H charts very well but use the 4H charts to determine whether or not to enter. Is there any way to have 1H chart open and have the TDI showing whats going on the 4H charts ? -Tiggrrr

Thank you soo much my friend! It is very helpful to see both time frames TDI's on one chart instead of flipping back and fourth."

Are there any "smooth" TDI indicator MTF ? A lot more easier on the eyes!

Just look at the #'s above the TDI chart. If the red #'s is greater than the green #'s , its already cross

the TDI PL green , TSL red and MBL yellow are moving averages 2,7 and 34 using the RSI 13-period close price data.

so if you want to see a 'smooth' TDI, you can be innovative.
