Hello !

I enjoy trading the 1H charts very well but use the 4H charts to determine whether or not to enter.


Is there any way to have 1H chart open and have the TDI showing whats going on the 4H charts ?

Nonetheless...So basically...

Whenever tdi crosses above MBL we go long, and below MBL we enter short.

After analyzing the charts on the 4H charts and each candlestick hi/low, it is impossible to not make any money by following those simple rules. I mean...why enter a trade crossing your fingers so when you wake up the next morning to see profits when you can simply put in a 20-30 pip TP every time you enter with those simple rules ? I noticed a lot of you guys enter a trade, and magically guess a TP by looking at the FIBo levels or major support or resistance levels. Why go through that stress ? This system has a name..."Trading Made Simple." Simplicity and a stress free entry is key.

Starting this week I will be plugging in a 20 pip TP for every entry which follows those rules. Its IMPOSSIBLE to not find any entry that follows the rules during the day since multiple charts can be looked at. Check it out for yourself...see the HI/LO of the candle for every cross that is either below or above the MBL. One thing to be aware of is that major news announcements can really go against what the chart is telling you so it is best to be aware of that.

Remember....number one reason traders lose money is due to greed. Once you hit a 20 pip TP daily your DONE for the day. Over time you will see your account grow and grow daily. You cant drive from 0-100 in 1 second. Just let the gears slowly kick in and you will notice the money coming in.

Is it the yellow line on traders Dynamic Index?
Is tdi the green line or the red line?

And another query tiggrrr, are you planning on using a 20 pip stop loss as well? or the nearest high or low?

this is different system, but TDI description is excellent, elfranz was using TDI in little different way,

about your 5° entry ( tha PA ) your price go to +24-25 pips in gain and pullback
have you manage manually without your EA? because at +20+21 your stop loss go to BE correct?
and the pin bar blue was not a signal for exit trade??

I started off by placing 25 pip TPs, but I knew that whenever price moved following a PA setup/TDI cross, it goes for about 60-70 pips. I just wasn't ready and had to work on my patience. So I started taking profit later and later, until I reached 50 pips... Why would you take profit early when you can just do something else while your TP gets hit at a 90% success rate... There are days where the whole price move goes for about 30-40 pips, but it happens less often.

TMS-II is a project by a small team of active TMS traders. We are live testing TMS-II until end Nov and therafter we will decide how we move forward next year.
December month will be holidays for most of us do not trade after the 18 Dec until 3 Jan.

Did you read post#11? ... scalp H4 chart.

pinux,
When I physically monitor trades, I usually turn off the EA. I am not sure what trade you are referring to but price did not drawdown more than 21 pips on any of the trades except the BE one.

Left quite a bit on table but as I can't monitor trades leave it up to MPTM to close or SL/TP to hit

NZD/USD - LONG TRADE

Entered at the TDI cross. TP is 20pips and im done for the day. No SL. Now I go to bed and see what the market gives me in 4 hours.

I must say thanks to all the contributors to this forum as i have learnt a huge amount and especially imi and emmanuel7788 for suggesting i take a look at TMS.

Any way, first trade ...

EJ : Divergence on 4hr

1hr entry : TDI cross above MBL ... 20 pip SL ...

I personally entered a little early before LO and safer more text book approach would have been to enter on break of FO candle high.

Trade is now at BE so lets see ...

when you want to scalp with a R:R 1:1 and using H4 candle for 20pips, you have to pick the right type of candlestick pattern which show you the volatility, momentum and market strength.

Happy to see your post here in TMS.
Good trade! I am in the same with 30pips banked and BE remaining. The market type is good for bull.
Let's see how this will run later, but bank holidays in the US and also some Euro banks.
