Had a pending order to buy @1.6036 and TP @ 1.6049, order filled beautifully, GBP/USD is a manipulated currency, the bullish move was as a result of leaked data, someone is smiling both ways.

after the GU seal is broken, the situation has changed ......
Opportunity has now climbed to higher and passionate.
psychologically, level: 1.5999 to psychological 1 support point.
I hope GU will continue to rise until a few hours ahead

That big white candle seems to complete a bearish engulfing pattern to me. We have the uptrend and then the "signal" that it might reverse. The trigger ? Well the average earnings dropped more than expected and looking further suggests the consumer will remain strained. And let's not forget the US. We are only 24h away from the default. If US will default then any UK number - bad or good - will be insignificant to determine what GBP will do. I keep my gbp/usd short despite some daily volatility.
