i am finding it interesting that the gap up jumped over the MONTHLY PIVOT. We are currently above the DR1 and the DAILY PIVOT. But price failed to close above the WEEKLY PIVOT this past 4hr candle. Trading above these pivots puts is bullish. Just not bullish enough over the past 4hr.

Will be even worse for shorts if we reject off here the 1.59883 level hourly resistance and close back above 1.59928

i did take a partial @ 1.5987 as well, but not willing to open long, just waiting for the hour close to decide to add to shorts or wait a bit further

i'm not sure about the 1.606x, but im sure you have your reasons all the best

anyway i added more short in GU @ 1.5995 and closed another partial @ 1.5982, will let the rest run towards 1.57 hopefully SL already at BE

Interesting, traders on FF are the most long they've been in months and the net long positions of large financial institutions are the highest they've been for 6 months.

It looks like the USD is failing to breach 1.60 and stay threre, there was a weak bounce off the 23.5 fibo, all this in the face of what should be the worst news ever for the dollar (default) is just a few days away.

The contrarian in me is saying if you didn't call reversal from the engulfing candle on the daily on the 29th you ought to be calling now. Still its a tough one.

Interesting. I just checked and Dukascopy has 60% short, etoro, 80% short, oanda 72% short, saxo 76% short. FWIW FF has 58%:42% shorts to longs, 63:37 in lots.
It is dangerous to be short the $ down here close to support; I suppose it depends on your timeframe. I'm expecting another push down but whether it comes or not, well, it's 50-50 frankly.

i'm short but, i think that cable should break 1,5950 to turn short. On 1h it is still long with higher high and higher low.
