Like manuf and constr before it, the most important re Uk economy - services pmi is slightly under last month/forecast but still an upside knee-jerk reaction...changes intraday outlook right now somewhat ? 1hr v.mixed re opa now.

.....descending 1hr t/lines and previous 1hr swing hi zone zone to 6240 the immediate near-term potential upside obstacles....immediately above there:

6248-59 prev 1hr/ minor 4hr sw hi zone (current weekly hi @ 6259)
6261 Daily R3 @/around
6272 Weekly R2 @/around
[ 6278-6309-6349 prev daily/weekly/monthly sw hi zone incl 6278=76.4% 6746-4811, and 6300=Daily R2 @/around, and 6349 = Daily R3 @/around
[ 6335-55 = monthly descending t/line coming thru on present weekly candle
6397 Weekly R3 @/around

As per my view Selling zone is below white horizontal.
And Buying zone above trendline on weekly chart. (The weekly chart post is so older so i can't find it right now but you can draw and see on weekly chart)

Cable is set for a huge spike or a huge fall, IMO.

It is currently at the top of a downward channel that stretches back as far as 2009, and is also close to the high point of 2013 (all the way back in Dec. 2012 - which I know is 2012, but the high point occurred near New Year's Eve!).

If it falls, then 1.6000 and then, possibly, 1.5730 are on the cards. If it rises, then 1.6330, 1.6500 and then, possibly, 1.6730 are on the cards.

divergence on the daily of EUR/GBP adds to the argument of downside to the gbp. Looking top heavy and time for a correction in an impressive upmove
