it looks like a short. chart steadily declining. might give a chance for a short.

be wary of japan printing yen and keep tight stop loss.

Remember that today is Thursday her here in Asia and most reversals or bounces take place on Thursday or Friday and with Obama going abroad on Saturday I have a feeling that these USD gains from 97.13 to 97.6 (take or give now) might have legs to stand on. Realistically the YEN should be on its way back to 96 but with Obama on his way to Asia this Saturday I canot picture or imagine the US Government allowing the USD to weaken or US stocks to fall.

Obama cancelled that trip due to the ongoing congressional negotiations, the real action in USD/JPY might not happen until October 15 when the Japanese Diet (government) start there extra session so that Abe can try to pass all his “third arrow” policies.

I’m still a strong believer of the 101 to 97 range until perhaps that time frame; however I will admit we are just steps away from destroying the bottom side.

I thought Obama cancel his trip to Asia? He will stay back in the US to settle his domestic problem...this is what I read in this morning paper.

I thought he just cancelled two destinations of his trip to Asia to cut his trip short. To the best of my knowledge the whole trip was not cancelled (only two destinations were cancelled).

Trip includes 4 nations. Philippines and Malaysia were postponed but Brunei and Indonesia are still on schedule. They may be postponed though as well but as of now they are still on schedule.

They most likely postponed the two which were most likely to obtain less cash from lol.. Indonesia and Brunei have more money to invest in US Treasuries,Bonds and Securities bringing back money to the broke people is good news for everyone lol..

The two initial countries (Malaysia and the Philippines) were confirmed cancelled. No real comment was given on the rest of the trip, however there is essentially no chance he will leave the US without settling both the funding of the government and raising of the debt ceiling.

If you think those will be settled before the end of this scheduled trip, and he still goes, the market action would have already played itself out. The settling of those two storylines trump anything Obama would ever do on a trip to Asia.
