Hi everyone...I've been lurking around for a while I thought I'll post my thoughts. I'm currently long this pair..seems like if we get past 1.6070 area we could possibly get a retest of highs, as all supply above that has been eaten up.

Today has got a high probability for single direction volatility. I have closed all my heavier shorts earlier to lighten my position. Will add higher up.

How high up are you thinking?
1.6058?
1.6098/1.6100?
1.6120?

In my book - GU has covered most of what it should have in terms of levels to the upside - but EU may want to go visit 1.3775 still. So - GU may be dragged along. Maximum risk I think will be 1.6400, but we need to keep an eye on 1.6140 first to see. After that - next critical number is 1.6220.

Downside I have my targets - I have a few shorts running already but reduced risk early this morning. We are in a sell zone as per my rules - so will pace it. Worst case is a visit back to 1.5852 later. Could be days - could be weeks. My aim is to keep BE above this number for now.

But we do not know the path - so your question is a difficult one to answer with conviction.

I'm long GBPUSD @ 1.6034 lets see if 1.6030 will hold.
Looking for some quick profit at 1.6062
I 1.6030 fails, next support is at 1.6015

Until done a bit the crazy still up, so wait for more before next leg down or any crush.fed perhaps loosing control by itself!! More to see them into recession, never seen before then if crush continues !! eu targeting by bull level 3710 !! breaks confirm UP signal again for all , 1.40+ to 1.4550 !!
Equivalent gu breaks target bull 6381 for 6750-7042+++ !! US go to recession !!USDX below 70!!! take care

I think Yen has been falling for months now and not a real factor to me.More significant factors are perceived economical recovery of GB and Feds extending QE
All could change next month.If we close this month below 1.60 Bears have a real good shot at 1.55
