Good day,

It is important to me that we get to 1.5845.. very important.

I think on this round - most currency pairs are going to extend recent trading range - we are in for a wobbly. Expect the unexpected. I'm still in shorts but have closed and reopen top position twice already. Took a few on each one on the small retrace - opened again -now wait.

Key to rip most benefit is to wait for swing change.I can easily wait a month to reach my target.I know they are lot of scalpers and day traders here and from their perspective price going 30pips against their position is huge.Not with me.I allow even 300pips against my position because I average in my orders and usually top orders are slightly larger.
I trade grid,channels and that is my style and having 20-30% DD is normal in my way of trading.If you do research one of the most successful trading group Turtles often experienced large DD's even as much as 60% but overall their equity curve was up.
I see trading in 2 ways. Spread large swat of Territory with low geared small lots or consolidate large lots in smaller targeted areas.Here is the problem with short SL scalper,day trader mode.If you get your stops hit 5x a day that would be equal of me holding 150pip DD only difference you are out with money and I am not but I carry a greater risk of turning 150pip DD into 300DD.To overcome this I trade starting from key zones therefore feel comfortable with DD.
Having drawdown scares lot of people but in my thinking its either DD or tight SL's which get hit on random basses just about every hour.
This is not new idea.I took it from a book called 'Bird Watching in Lion Country" (Kiwi Trader's favorite book)

There will not be a single trader breathing that has not experienced draw down. It is statistically impossible to get a spot on entry every single time. Draw down is part of trading, like a bad debtors book is part of business. I acknowledge that I do not know all the trading jargon floating around. I acknowledge that I am only right 60% of the time ( up from 50%)

We all should stop this bad practice of excluding possibility. Do not comment on another trader's entry - it is his/her business. Period.

Draw down is part of my life - like breathing. I'm used to it.

I took a long here, why not. You want to follow the trend?
Well price has been making steady confirmations of uptrend taking place ( pretty obvious) and lots more room to go if you do you research a little. Just because price looks high on a sreen of x time frame should not be a reason to think it is overpriced.
