1hr closes and bullishly engulfs last 7 candle bodies on that t/f. Potential upside obstacles to yesterday's 5647 hi per 1hr pic below.

carry on & for good action next down will take from most stronger corrective ones gu & gold , specially as as investors should worry most if any real cause .

some crazy small bull in gold but should be very short lived, good and gu also having bull set up at top & should be short lived too , yes better stable .

Where's your GU stop? Charts look bullish to me. Herd is short. So if official bank rate stays 0.50 it probably moves up.

When did a geo poloitical event that comes at an unannounced time - and like this one that will still likely affect the markets when it does come [even though we've all had good notice] ever be reflected in the charts beforehand ? I am afraid that such events do not respect technical and chart patterns lol - they just happen and markets react...usually with a flight/money flow to safe havens/quality. Charts only tell us what has happened and tech analysis is predicated on the principle that what happened in the past repeats....but when an unknown / unknown schedule event risk occurs, well ..... [ I remember being long this pairing on a good bullish signal per my edge and it was in profit and then the news of the London 7/7 bombings hit the wires...all the charts of interest to me per my edge's methodology were bullish to this point but price dropped thru the floor/off the edge of the cliff and I got stopped with some slippage.)
