Well, it depends if you consider spikes or daily closing... To me, it will all depend on the German IFO in 3 minutes... ....

I guess, there is many things in a price, CHF being the ultimate refuse currency; it would react to economic perspective, but also geo stability, etc. Not easy to really allocate the %. Before Syria, we had tensions in many other countries.
For wars/tensions in the middle East, I like to keep an eye on Oil price, which is quite stable for the past few weeks.

Also, I now look at all majors & it seems that they all drop! USD is king...

To me 1.2280 - 1.2285 is a strong support, hourly RSI is already at 26.xx, I do not see it breaking lower (unless, a few Skuds starts flying around the Middle East....)...

Not an expert on war issues, but if war, people will seek refuge... And in this world, few currencies are part of the league. Because, if 'the whole world collapses', would you rather have USD or SEK/AUD/ZAR/EUR/... ?

You want USD, CHF & Gold.

So far, 1.2285 reacted positively, but USDJPY is pulling down (Yen appreciating)... Let's see. Some US data this afternoon....

Well... oil up, stocks down, refuge values up... OK, OK, we might blame it on Bashar... We should hold a second attempt to break the 1.228, but not the 3rd one...

I don't think so, you normally don't put your stops just on a support (here 1.228), but below it. Just my opinion.

hi Holmes yes your right i did buy at 1.22900 but not max lot size as i think it could head lower at the end of the day we are still in the 1.22-1.24 range

We are near the month end, and this is a down pressure too. So I am planning to buy in Friday, or before friday, if we could spike down to 1,22 region.

IMHO, we will only touch the 1.22 region, if there is a MAJOR event (not related to monthly closing, have a look at the past 2 months closing - within 20 pips from present level).
