Disliked{quote} For me, you should have at least 40-50k pips bankroll to be able to handle DD. So, let's take as an example a 1k$ account. 1,000/50,000= 0.02$ 0.02$ should be your pip value. For small accounts you will have to use microlots to be able to do that. Now let's put a 5k pips target per month. That is a realistic target if you see the guys results (or TAH's). 0.02$ * 5.000 = 100$ With a 5k pips target, you can achieve a 10% growth, which I think is quite acceptable. I made >22% last month. I hope this answer is valid for youIgnored
Disliked{quote} Thank you. There you have it newbies. You need 10k to trade DIMES. I calculated this to be a bit higher. 20k to trade DIMES if you are going to last for a year, but hey, 10K will do. Now, after this post, then I have no other gripes. JUST REMEMBER, TO MAKE THIS METHOD WORK, YOU NEED A TEN THOUSAND DOLLAR ACCOUNT TO TRADE MICRO LOTS.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Actually you can be successful with any seeds, because all depends on your money management. You can start even with 20-30$ but it takes the time to grow up your account. Profit is smaller but is still profit. As bigger your deposit are as higher profit you will get. Nothing else. It's not some kind of rocket science. And how to definite "successful" ? Example for me, each dollar I get is successful.Ignored
Disliked{quote} You do know that you have been at this for less than TWO MONTHS, right??Ignored
Disliked{quote} Nice answer, and what is the leverage needed to achieve this? I find it amazing that no one talks about leverage.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Not exactly! You can trade micro lots with less deposit if you will trade with less pairs or with less frequency or both.Ignored
Disliked{quote} i have follow this tread since 2012 january. and acc result i have post is my new acc for challenging and i treade using PSVRA allIgnored
Disliked{quote} Then how large should a seed be??? If you have a 5k account, how large should one seed be if you are trading one pair?? Not that I expect an answer to such a specific question.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I've actually done the calculation, and it turns out to be a trade off between number of scouts verses margin call. Assuming trading a single pair. Let's say you have 1k account, 1:50 leverage, and trading 0.01 lots (the smallest) on a regular account. Meaning, this is $1000 (0.01 x 100,000 standard lot size). Assume we are using margin call and trading manually without SL. First, you like to define your ultimate DD as let's say 50%. Then you have 50% margin for trades, or 500. Assuming margin for the pair is 30, then you have 500/30 = 16...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I know that you know nothing about sample size, but come back in a year, and post your results.Ignored
