Good points, but if you don't need the money to live on, you can trade it in a ROTH account , leave the money in there and then when you hit retirement , you can withdraw it TAX FREE..................

Price levels are the biggest enigmas to me.. I dont get why a level south would open a level up north to play.. or why any levels make another level possible at all...

that dont mean you short. it just means its better to wait. we had lots saying long at 328x. and later taking profit. we u dont hear is the pin drop when we went to 318x.. that draw-down is what u will not hear. to be a good trader, the first demon to overcome, is honesty to yourself.

Your argument has merit and we can still see a rise or a fall in the Euro. The tools we use to help us make informed decisions are as good as the person interpreting the information. What you are saying here, is that the trajectory lines can be a fair warning to bears that the BULLS are still trying and trying really hard indeed so be on the alert for a short squeeze.

We both know gator, from experience,that we draw from as many credible resources out there and our own intellect to make informed decisions. So now its a waiting game and seeing how our interpretation has helped us based on the tools we use. I will never stop cheering for you and this I why I've said publicly in FF, that you are a value to the room and others looking on should take the time and allow the experience of well thinking and meaningful traders help them in looking at the market, while we are all still learning together.

Can I Vouch for you a THIRD time?

You know my trade, I still will hold my short, your warning is noted, well respected and very much appreciated.

think of it like a see saw, a movement in one direction can also build momentum to go in the opposite direction harder than it would have done.

Just like a see saw (or whipsaw)

i ave both regular and roth ira accounts. the problem is that you cannot go short, and you cannot borrow money (so no margin). they have to be cash account, so no leverage.

What you said about non specific targets and gaining simply from what the market gives us is very accurate. I know of several people that get desperate after being flat for a while and start to make silly decisions in search of some profit. I find 10% monthly is a nice target but I will take what I get. In the last month MM gave me a nice spike in oil up to almost 110 which was a nice selling opportunity (which I took) and from it I got my 10%.

Looking forward to next weeks trading where I expect some Euro weakness to hopefully commence

Like Warren Buffett said, Leverage is your enemy. (I'm paraphrasing) But he has Billions so its easy from him to say. But his point is extremely valid.

We have to take what we're given.. When I hear about percentages, I'm thinking banks.. Banks work hard to get their collateral right and balance their other portfolios, etc.. We have none of that because we're not banks or mutual funds.. We're speculators...
