hmmm technicals are looking ready for a buying opportunity but 1.50 was one heck of a support and a round number which we've broken.... i have a pending long at 1.4905 waiting to be triggered to take profit at 1.5200 Stop Loss will the move up, the higher it moves up from 1.4905, the more i can walk away with even if it hits my SL...
, then at 1.5200 ill begin loading a multi position short on the GBPUSD with the trend, the multi position is expected to end at 1.5500, so i am short GBPUSD below 1.5500

PS. be aware that i did say that i have a PENDING order for long... if i see it begin to rise in the following hour or so, the pending order gets invalidated....

Gold has more demise to come....
did an analysis on Gold (XAUUSD)/Yellow line VS Gold Bugs (.HUI)/Purple Line
and realized GOLD has a lot more room to drop back into relationship...

take note gold has been moving along with Gold Bugs in tandem Pre-2008, post 2008, there is a huge relationship gap and i am expecting this gap to close..... either by Gold falling all the way down or

The following chart plots XAUUSD vs .HUI in an indexed environment and you can see the huge gap....
and that is why i have always been bearish on gold at 1700 when the rest of the world was still hoping for 2000 lol....

I would disagree with you bro...
1. why would the fed depreciate gold when they are the major holder of gold, then buy it back up at a lower price.... so ur telling me they are going to take a huge loss on golds they've been holding since before the drop at 1550 and so on?
2. Why would you even assume that depreciating gold would cause China to falter? when China's only reason for the recent disappointment has NOTHING to do with gold price? (did you know China's share of gold as reserve is very small compared to US, UK and Swiss?) China's economic woes recently has nothing to do with gold... but rather its transition from an export oriented economy into a domestic growth economy.
3. You talk as if FED can start program to push gold prices up and down like clockwork... what are the implications of them doing so? they will probably have to print MORE money in order to inflate the gold bubble even more.... adding more national debt, not lowering it...

There is a lot of your theories thats potentially lethal because you are not doing your research well....

only 1-2% is actually invested in gold.... making them FAR from being the Top holder of gold when US holds over 60% of the world's gold.... why do you think Gold is primarily traded based in USD anyways....
All i can tell you is that THIS DROP in GOLD price is actually HURTING the FED rather than benefiting them....

Also if you wouldnt mind looking at a previous post where i showed a Gold and Purple chart, ive explained why Gold is gona suffer even more drop in price rather than it going back up....
the Gold/Gold Bugs Relationship is displaced for more than 5 years and this relationship will come in play to Gold's Demise falling to the drain like any bubbles...
need i remind you about the Dutch Tulip Crisis, in the 1600s? price inflated beyond belief.... just like gold when there is no fundamental reasoning behind the inflated value.

I agree with you. In my opinion this summer GBP, EUR, AUS and AUX will go up. But after reaching 1.6, 1.4, 1.04 and 1600 respectively the longer term downtrend will come. My target for gold is 500-800 and GBP 1.0-1.1 by the end of 2014. This would be the aftershock to the 2008 crisis.

Daily candles still closed above yearly S2 (1.483), but the rate still don't get to monthly S3 (1.478) which coincides with last week's S3. So there is still room for the downside. In this case, weekly S1 (1.472) will be the final destination. But if the weekly manage to close above pivot (1.501), I think Wave 5 is about to begin, which will end around 1.60 this summer.

So I will keep long position till at least 1.59 (yearly pivot) and begin to build up short position there (along the way up/false breakout)

Daily Candle closed at monthly S2 (1.500), so next target would be monthly S1 (1.514), weekly S1 (1.517) or EMA(100) on H4 (now around 1.516)

It's alright my good man, just Cable salvaging some pride I think.
She cleared road bock 1 in the last hour of play, but there is some formidable bearish defence around the 38.2 fib at 5170 odd.
With 3 strong bearish weeks in a row, a decent retrace is overdue I think.

With US news today and tomorrow, will be watching the 1 hr for signs of a break down with potential for a very big drop if indeed she does break down.
An eventual break of 1.48 next week after retracing to 5140 area (at least), would be a good sign.

But 1 step at a time.....

It's fairly common to see a bullish candle after 3 black crows.

This bear isn't shaken out. Still looking for 1.42 and below
