I have just reviewed charts and large traders positions and it all tells me E/U is going MUCH higher...

The cot chart does tell that large speculators begin to accumulate long positions right now. this is my interpretation...: from the beggining of the year they accumulated longs until the week of Jan 22 and then reduced longs until the week of Mar 19. longs accumulated again for two weeks since the week of mar 19th. shorts began accumulation since the week of april 2 until may 7th, thereafter more longs joined in to fight the shorts. because the open interests never decreased since march 19th, it is possible that the shorts still hold their positions. looks like it is going to be a fight to determine the diection of euro.

What information did you review and how did you draw your conclusions?

Im not saying you are wrong bro but I think that posts like these need to be explained further than just a simple direction statement

You reviewed the COT data from the 11th?

Well those position changes manifest themselves late last week with sideways trading in EURUSD, sideways will continue until FOMC statement IMO.

Please reply to this and explain your thoughts more fully referencing the information you have read specifically to generate your opinion.

I think we need to improve the quality and validity of each post that is a statement of price and prediction. People can not either argue or agree with your point without an idea of why you feel this way

if equities market and bonds market fall at the same time, that means money is moved out of the country, and the country economy is doomed. if equities market and bonds market go opposite direction, that means money still in the country but moved from one market to another market, and the country economy is ok.

It's a US weeks and I am in bears side for this week but still I see a good chance for bulls. Here is my chart! I see the formation of a Bearish Gartley. The ratios are bit odd but they are under Bearish Gartley's range.

IMO 1.35x is possible to form the D and then I expect a way back to 1.30 or even 1.28x is valid. So I will sell in highs with proper SL and some small longs with 30-50 pips TP.

Certainely not...ECB is not like the "illuminati" of BOJ, or US Federal reserve.
The OMT program wille be the max...highly regulated and controled.

High Euro..is good for US China and Japan...and the ECB work for that.
High Euro is not a problem for Germany..and Germans are the boss in Europe (for moment )

do not confuse yourself with all that, cot should be read as a relation between commercial part and non comm. Go to your weekly, find last three major legs and check cot week before and after and spot the pattern, I have been writing about this many times without any response, either I am waisting my time or I am actualy the only guy here who can read reports properly.
I did not see the same thing at 2750 which I saw at 1.20and 1.37

Been looking at that, and did a search and it turns out its in line with bearish Bat pattern
. Anyway do you trade Gartley like pattern

Could you tell me, or post what source you use for tracking cot data... I will review your previous posts that I have missed to learn how you are reading and using the data. Sounds interesting.

Monthly charts are insanely important. You can do without looking at a yearly chart but I personally love it. Without the monthly chart (or RSI) I wouldn't have known to go short on the opening of the February monthly candle.

But just taking one look at the yearly chart you can see why we bounced so hard with ONLY technical support at 1.2040 last year (and i guess some QE3 front running)

I'm just showing based off technical patterns and momentum that work extremely well. Do you think that this years candle is going to engulf the doji we saw in 2012? The chance of this on any time frame is unlikely but especially on a yearly time frame.

I'm highly confident that when we are going to go down, its not going to be until at least next year, and may even take until 2015 (which is when the majority of the financial world expects the FED to seriously scale back, and it just so happens to line up with technicals)

Of course I scalp and trade daily swings and all that but monthly and quarterly charts definitely have their place. A yearly chart is to show you how much potential this year has, or if a move has the potential to last years.

From experience staring at candles I can tell by this yearly candle that we are highly likely to remain range bound between 1.27 and 1.37 for the rest of the year

Also its the yearly and monthly chart that said go long ANYWHERE in the 2800 zone, after February drop.

No you don't have to wait years to go long! 2800/2900 would have been pretty good. This is just for the extremely long term stuff. If I look at a the quarterly or yearly chart of GBPAUD, the confidence I have in going long (for the medium-long term) is absolutely incredible, compared to just looking at a weekly or monthly, it doesn't show the whole picture.
Be hopeful in a winning position, and fearful in a losing position.
