I am only expecting the EURUSD pair to go max below 1.3000 level. The breakout from 1.3020 is a strong indication of how the dollar is performing I would say. In addition, we saw potential H&S pattern forming (in daily chart) and dbl top breakout (h4 chart) shows that the EURUSD has a higher chance heading south further. But still, 1.2750 is a good support range. Have to watch out for it somehow.

I wouldnt be too bearish on Euro just yet.. As long as 2750's holds, movement above 3240 is not out of question.
if thursday's high goes - 3100 will be in the scope again.

I may be looking at buying dips, maybe for 1,303x first....i'll know more this week.

So i agree we can go higher.

I was hoping Gator would answer Ambar's question, and expected it to be a good answer, as always. But I must say it's one of the best explanations I've ever read about PA and how the market behaves. Hats off...

Now, just one more thing...

Gator, I've read you several times about the dog's trip to the .8xxx tree. I know you don't have a crystal ball, but do you really think that this will come sooner than later? I mean, I see the euro's realistic and "natural" place -given the european economic circumstances- at somewhere between 1.0 and maybe 1.15, but beyond that... Seems like nobody will be interested in reaching levels under 1.0, but of course I may be wrong or it can be ranging between 0.8xx and say 1.1xx

i dont know, and i am not a Pollyanna on Europe. maybe when they solve the war every 20 years average, i will give in. yeah i know, i am an odd ball talking about war in Europe. with all the kumbia that the ez has shoved up peoples ass. i just rather side with the 100% of past performance.
we also got the demise of the u.s. talk.. yeah all great countries have failed. the u.s. its just a baby at 250 compared to the ones lasting a thousand years. so maybe we got some time left.. all i know is if you take any product with energy (99.999%) of any product.. and produce it one place with cheaper energy over another (when cost effective). people and money will flock to that place with all things =..
people think energy is just fuel..
its much more.. its steel production, farming and its plastics, its anything we can think of in industry.. its even the service industry.. its in everything modern. even in your insurance premiums. so whover can do it cheaper will benefit. if you add all the production cost of energy in any product, you will be amazed on the compounding.

My humble opinion: USD / JPY is key. If it starts its long overdue correction this week, the Euro will probably rally.

You got your place in the hall of fame, been reading you since day 1, always wanted to know how you use fibo, but since you shared it with mr. Hatch why don't you say it straight how it is instead of stories of trowing ball and dogs pissing the trees in the park?

so the dollar index is already past levels of last year (when the euro was at 1.22)... it's been past the big resistance at 83.5... for several days now. 84 is a resistance level but if we get through this then it's potential next stop is 85.5. The euro has hung in there better than most but its fundamental backing and where it should be can potentially be considerably lower. if any realizations catch up with the euro, it could certainly blow through levels of last year. hoping for the euro to go higher (past 1.30) really seems to be looking a gift horse in the mouth. us markets seem to be full steam ahead until they really want to change for the time being
