notice the falling TLs in white, the rising wedge in yellow, the supply res area in red.. makes me go hmmm really..

yes - 8426 is a key level, being the weekly closing price for the 2011 low.This level has held since it was taken out in the bullish thrust in the beginning of this year, however - a couple of bearish candles in recent weeks on this timeframe suggest a possible extension of the current pullback to 8360 area.

I was looking to buy around the 8380/90 area -didn't pick up on 426 but see what you mean now. I mainly trade shorter time frames in particular the 60 min but it's interesting to look at the bigger picture for sure. Cable down to 5000 by end of week?

yeah, me too actually - but I do like it when the fast and slow timeframes line up - will be looking for entries via M15 -

as for cable - bearish weekly close under key lows from last year - 15235 and 15268 - with 15100 area looking like a strong possibility - a 15100/15270 range also looks possible to me - in which case, I'll be looking for an EU rally to drive EG higher

Expecting break ultimately at 0.8381 for limit 0.8164 for up .
last leg down for up is more likely than last leg up , rudimentary ok though .

Not trading this pair though . eu to fall more than gu if all goes well .

Just an alternate view I have on the GBPUSD.

Am expecting an continuation downtrend of the sterling pound after 50% retracement previously. Looks like it is to set off to 1.4850 level again.
