Nope attila I've been following them since you mentioned it, and i noticed that spx went down a bit (first time since you posted it was still going up and you dont know why) and EU reacted instantly with 4-5 pips or so, then when the spx continued down EU went up (and was going up since...meanwhile spx going down), and just recently EU followed down. So I asked you if EU lags spx or they move simultaneously? Do they?

Does anyone else have problems with TP's like me ? Like...bounces twice 1-2 pip away from TP....I get that so many times..and I lose 1-2 days for that particular TP. Geez...I need to fix my supports a little...
p.s. I try to raise TP few pips above suport anyway...

actually, there's all you need right in it. combined with proper (read: strict) mm, that shit is huuuuge

just note that norm hasn't been met, so tomorrow in all that turmoil, you'll likely read "should I hold? I'm in deep shit... wtf just happened."

I like them being met immediately, but then it would be too good to be true.

same goes for the often mentioned 3099. the longer it takes, the more people forget about it. it takes me a lot of paper and sticky notes... and I still stumble.

do you base your tp on the same numbers you're doing the analysis with? spread considered?

when you pour water from one container to another, does the first one empties and the second one gets full? which one happens first? I am not following each and every tick but I do pay attention when they start diverging FIRST after they moved together for a while... remember how e/u was going up and then there was a strong sell off at the top for 20 or so pips? spx kept on going up for a while (several minutes).. what happened after that is not really important. what's important is the spx always follows, and once they catch up, they'll start moving faster together in the initial direction of the e/u. It's just one more thing I'm looking at, and it's not the only one... In this case I gave it more weight because the day was driven by U.S. news and all the FED chatter on the wires..Can't build a strategy around this, that's for sure but it does help when things are unclear PA wise.

Yes, I do. I usualy reach it no problem. But I waste 1-2 days on bounces...And I usualy raise TP just for that reason 3-4 pips above targeted area. I'll need to raise it higher...so it seems

As we sit at ADR distance from W levels above - prob a battle for these will come tomorrow.

don't focus on the exact pip, better see it like a zone e.g 5-10-15 pips away from the level, ofc you need to have some bigger targets and not those 20-30 pippers if done that way..

focus on the meat instead...

Yeah...I've forced myself to asume my trades as they are SL + TP to the end. I want to see green and only GREEN. And this exageration brings me to this kind of problems...2-3 pip away from TP, late 1-2 days. I need to fix it somehow..

I do not understand very well this corelation between spx and EU/USD. Pleae, explain it to me. So, when the SPX goes up, the EU/USD get the same direction? Or the currency moves first?

do you have several targets?

that's a good way of locking in som cash, e.g scaling zones where you could take 20 % then 50%, and then the last 30% in case it's a runner..

how about spending some time and just watch both markets and make notes and learn, shit.... forgot it takes time, dedication and effort.
Now I want to know all that too.
Both are totally distorted, there is no corelation atm since equities are fueled by the fed, SP will not give you direction for euro dollar

The answer of your question is : The first one release the amount of liquid first, when the amount of liquid is enough to fill the space between the containers the second one gets filled. V2/t = V1/t - Vsp/t , where V2/t - is the volume in container 2 @ the moment t , V1/t - is the volume that left container 1 until the moment t and Vsp/t is the volume in the space between container 1 and 2 @ the same moment t

Please read the post again. I don't use it all the time, only when certain things happen.. There is nothing in this world that will tell you for sure what will happen, or which way things will go...
