DislikedEverything I see in the charts tell me we have a drop below 1.50. Data shows is should be a drop and PA on weekly and monthly shows me it should head south. Something is stopping it from dropping 5 to 10 cents.{quote}Ignored

That is about 20-30% of it. Companies hedging their money for the product they are selling or buying. Then you have 15-30% of it of groups trying to go long / short and the rest is the real econ. My opinion.{quote}

confuse seeing all theory ... keep holding my selling lets see tomorrow when the news came out will it go up till 160 again or drop . i stake my 1 month salary for it

I would like to address the issue to two tables of GDP:
As you can see, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands,... and particularly the support of Switzerland keep the EU so strong.
Unemployment rate, as many other indicators, is only a gauge for estimating economic growth which is not a direct indicator. Moreover, central banks adjust their currencies to keep their policies on their targets. In term of your country, I think Singapore, you can give estimation based on your economy and expected trends. I couldn't find it among top 20s.
Sometimes Mr Market enforces some movements on someways based on what big traders want. But central banks which are responsible for economic goals aim at adjusting deviations. Famous ones are the BOE, Mr King, the FED, Mr Bernanke, and ECB, Super Mario. You may remember that what happened in February for cable.
That's why I have been and still am bearish on sterling. Although it absolutely has fluctuations and may go more up.
