i subscribed to this thread 
i like is system sonic master. i have some queries about the entries. i hope i can have answers.
i have been lurking this thread for few weeks and finally decided to subscribe and get updated. master sonic can you please tell me if we only take short when candle close below the dragon and vice versa for longs or there is more to that? because today i saw some entries on GU and Crude oil but couldnt take them as i was confused.

You don't need to "subscribe". All that does is fill up your email with what is already posted here on the thread. Do you want to be updated? If so, just come to this thread and read! Do you want to understand about entries, etc? Then read Post #1, particularly the Sonic R. System Manual (brief form) linked therein. You should also take the time to start reading all of Sonic's posts, as well as all the thread posts for the past month.
In other words, don't just subscribe. That is a waste of time. You have to treat this thread as a manual, or textbook, and start going to school, i. e., you have lots of reading to do before you are entitled to ask questions. The more you read, the more you will find your questions are already answered via the efforts of others in the past that already took the time to write them out. Please don't expect them to write them out all over again just for you! We don't have time to repeat ourselves for each new person that arrives and expects to do little but ask questions.

So, when you ask questions about anything, you need to include the picture of the situation that you are asking about. Just be sure you fully read all that the trader wrote regarding such a trade, because often you will find the answers to your questions are already provided therein (assuming the trader did a good job preparing the post).

Hello Fellas.
I am reading this thread with increasing interest. Went through almost 100 pages.
I'd like to ask a big favor from Sonic or TAH in the name of all newcomers. While the content and links at the 1st post quite clearly deals with the basic system there are some missing info I am sure a number of us would like to have, i.e.: the description of the exact meaning and use of the colors on the VSA and the same for the "scout" entry.
Can that first post be ubdated or someone push me in the direction where can I find the info? Reading through over 3000 pages is somewhat unnerving..

you post from time to time, and I must admit, they confuse the heck out of me
with all those criss-crossing lines.
Would you consider keeping a separate chart with just the Sonic R data on it
to use when you post your trades. I think we all would appreciate it if you would.

New upgrade that is coming will be PVA, not VSA (so as to not confuse it to the ill performing "other" for which you can pay well over a thousand dollars for). There will be four colors.....
1. Green - bull climax candle
2. Red - bear climax candle
3. Blue - bull high volume candle
4. Purple - bear high volume candle
The definitions remain much the same.......
1. Climax candle - volume x candle spread is highest of past 10 (PVA), 20 (VSA) candles.
2. High volume candle - volume is greater than 150% (PVA), 138% (VSA) of the average volume of past 10 candles.
.....plus, PVA will redefine a high volume candle that is greater than 200% of the average volume of past 10 candles as a climax candle rather than a high volume candle.
For volume, all you really need to grasp is that colored candles represent important activity. Take note of that activity. And the green/red candles are presumed to be notable activity more directly caused by the "extremely well monied" professional trading concerns (the MMs; Market Manipulators).
The Scout trade has already been discussed in one of my posts today (http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...50#post6585450).....
"....there are many examples on the thread, especially in latest months, of what is called the Scout trade and which is an entry long when price is below the Dragon and is an entry short when price is above the Dragon. The Scout is predicated on analysis indicating high probability price will reverse, such analysis being heavily based on both the extend of a recent run and the study of volume associated with the run."
Finally, let me say this. If anyone wants to learn more about the Scout and the use of Volume, then they need to start reading the thread, more the most recent part than the initial part since neither volume nor the Scout existed with the initial basics. Some things are difficult to put into words and better if repeatedly viewed and contemplated as other traders use them. Besides, taking the time to try and put such material to words becomes mostly futile since most people arrive and don't bother to read anything. They just start asking questions.
Case in point, the colors for VSA volume are already defined in the User Notes of the indicators. And the releasing post of the indicators cleary tells you to read the damn User Notes because everything about the indicators has already been answered therein! So, why did you ask this question about volume colors? HUH? I'll tell everyone else why. You came here and mabe read some stuff, figured you really didn't have to follow the explicit directions given, and ended up with questions. And, it never dawned on you that maybe if you had done your homework more diligently you would not have such questions. So, like eveyone else looking to cut corners, you took the easier way out,.....instead of being a good student and actually reading everything, and thinking about it, you just started asking questions.....figuring on imposing on others to take their time to write out explanations (something already done), instead of you taking your time to do what you were told to do......READ!

I don't know about the trade, but I do like the way that new chart looks! It would be so nice if everyone posted their trades here using the same chart (and that new one would be perfect for everyone to use). Of course, I know it isn't likely to ever happen, but hey, I can dream can't I?
