Looking at the current EJ now, it might seems EJ has not yet decided its direction?
Today EJ has been small pips ranging since FF open as compared to other trading days.
I do watch EU and UJ as well, where i read the post posted by lastingwell on synthetic pair relationship.

if EU and UJ is up, EJ is up and vice versa
if EU and UJ goes opposite direction, EJ is sideway.

I was thinking of how to make this information an added advantage in trading with genesis on EJ and how it is possible to do that?

I still don't think taking a trade before news is an HPT. What if PA spikes before going to its intended direction?

Correlations seem to vary from time to time so I don't pay too much regard to them really. I do notice them and sometimes they are helpful, but they don't really figure in my daily trading plan.

It's quite a tough day for trading, so I think caution is the required. Sometimes no trade is the best position.

Hi dreamcatcher,

I didn't wait for the m15 arrow to be fully present itself to enter the trade.
My main drive in entering this trade is m15 stoch presenting a clear upward direction and HA candles has turned from red to white again, forming a higher low, plus m5 stoch also a higher low.

I didn't hold on to the trade longer as there are news near that time and PA reaches H1 trendline which might have a reaction on it. Btw, the hourly trendline is not part of Genesis system so should ignore it to prevent further confusion.
If I were still in trade now, I wouldn't be sure if I should still hold on to it...

Oh i thought correlation pairs are something like EU, GU, AU with all the same denominators while synthetic pairs are more of specific pair combinations like EU, UJ with EJ and GU, UJ with GJ and so on.

There shouldn't be much correlations with pairs like EU, GU and AU, for example and hence not reliable to look at them together, I think.

But for EJ, EU and UJ seems ok to matched them together as we can know the dollar index to know the dollar strength and hence gauge the movement of EU and UJ.

If EJ should go up, it means E>U then EU go up and U>J then UJ go up hence together E>U>J = EJ go up.
I calculate the number of pips gap down on monday and pips tally like exact science... quite interesting, but since this is Genesis system trading, think should not bring this up too often to drift the system away.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused in proper trading in future.

Hi Kwissy,

thank you for your explanation. I am looking back for some setups and waiting for the M15 arrow seems a bit late, unless it was strong trend. But on the otherside, from the PDF statistic, it is tend to give a better result. So I am considering which way I will use as my rules

Please people just CMIIW if I got it wrong...

Think we might share the same mind as I'm actually feel more comfortable to wait for m15 arrow to appear and then trade on the 1st signal in the same direction as m15 arrow. But sometimes when you have seen a 100pips run like yesterday on EJ then m15 arrow turns up, how high a chance can EJ can make some more decent pips upon re-entry in same direction of m15 arrow? I'm still figuring this out, but as long as you find a good setup, you can just enter and try.

Signal Entry 2 method in the pdf can actually prevent a sideway movement entries but does not mean it always has HPT.

I find the best pipping time is around half an hour before london open until early NY session. NY session can really screw up big times many a time because its very vulnerable to news effects.

Better to miss the trade than lose the trade.
Then again, better to make the trade than miss the trade.

If you get stopped out, it sure will be very very painful...
4pips 5 trades is good idea but the stop loss... hmmm...
