I was really tempted by that trade but the stochs were not right for me. Its doing ok though.

Was in on the CJ short ... got to around +15 also but I decided to stay in trade as thought it would potentially go down further ... however just exited now as it had stalled for quite a while so only took +10 ... of course, minute I exit it starts to appear things may start moving again ... ah well.
1 pip at a time ... if the entries are strong, the rest will follow ...

I'm in this trade as well, hopped on the train mid-FO. Took it because of divergence on M5, general downtrend, agreeing HTF stochs, and recent S/R area around the BRN 124.

Looking good atm..+19; trade locked at BE+1. Will let it run and monitor closely =)

EDIT: stopped out at +8

I'm in a scalping mode this week. Genesis is just perfect to spot good entries (but that's nothing new, of course). A good day yesterday; 5 scalps of 4 pips, and today 2 short scalps on EU and EJ, again 4 pips each. It's an experiment, but if I can reach 20 pips a day this way, I'm a happy girl as the magic of compounding will take care of my account balance. Also, I feel much more relaxed trading this way.

......not always RJ!!! I am sick of being taken back to B.E. (at least it's B.E.) by this jumpy price action. Hanging in there with EJ trade though. Good on you Jo, whatever suits your frame of mind -- we must maintain a good mental health while trading and not spit the dummy every night!

Good luck on the scalping. Generally the problem with scalping, is the high risk/reward. You only need a couple of losses to wipe out a lot of hard won profits.

Most people see scalping as easier trading, rather than hours of waiting for a good HPT setup. But actually scalping requires far more discipline.

Not saying profitable scalping isnt possible, it suits some people very well, but you should be looking for at least 1:1 R/R scalping setups (of course in line with Genesis rules !!)

Exactly......daily results are not so important. It's weekly and monthly results that are important.

Thanks Marty. I'm aware of that and that's why I'm researching various MM strategies. I know there are people on FF who make a living scalping. Will learn until I get there

As it happens I know another trader, a girl too and she uses Genesis and the arrows etc but hasn't posted for a long time. She's still active and profitable but her aim is 10 pips per day, compounding. She's been doing this since the early days of this thread and has found her niche.....which is why she rarely posts. But the point is, she's making good money at just 10 pips/day compounding.
