and you're right, math... the past 2 weeks, I've only made 400ish pips from eu. that's only 25% of what I got from gu. and even had to trade nearly twice as often as gu.

but, still, mate.. what attila showed me thru eu, is nothing like what I have seen on other pairs. I'll still stick with eu.

Right now, there is considerable uncertainty as to whether the UK will even remain a member of the European Community, let alone join the eurozone. Personally, I hope that we hold a referendum and elect to exit the EC sooner rather than later.

Prime Minister David Cameron promised us a referendum before the last General Election; now he's kicked the can down the road until after the next General Election, probably because he doesn't seriously expect to win it. He can't hold a referendum now because his LibDem coalition partners won't allow it.

Personally, I believe that the sooner we, (i.e. the UK) exit the EC the better. Then we can completely govern ourselves again without having to suffer constant unwelcome interference from non-elected bureaucrats in Brussels and Strasbourg.

ecomomy and currency are not corelated, sounds crazy but its not

strong gbp importers happy exporters sad, and vice versa

Big part of economic development is foreign investment, strong gbp foriegn investor pull out their funds, and vice versa

Depreciation is common econmic tool, and bro, believe me people do care about gbp, they are watching like...
Thanks mate, I am worried since the UK economy is not one of those which benefits from cheap currency, we are not Germany or Sweeden...! We don't produce, we provide services. I hope I am wrong and the current policy does affect the economy to get the boost it needs. We will see if we live long enough.

Weak currency should help out tourism. Do you know what % of total revenue/GDP is attributed or linked to tourism?

but, really do. not at this hour. if I don't have a trade already running from tokyo, I don't wanna open one now -_- I wasn't even considering long when tokyo opened. closer to 2997, then I might.

LOL, i think Economy and currency have a high correlation. But in terms which is good or bad for the economy is depend on the situation and what they want to achieve?

but most of central banks in the world want to make their and control their currency as stable as they can by using some monetary tools. I think it is one of their main objectives as a central banks.

I don't have the exact figures mate, but whatever it is don't you think it is shameful to hope for more revenues from tourism due to currency depreciation for an economy as big as UK's... Besides, Britain always attracts visitors due to its unique location, I am really not sure how much the current situation would boost it.
