Math - I am surprised that you don't trade cable as there has been plenty of profitable action on that pair recently. No doubt you have your reasons.

See my earlier post I simply can't sell my Queen's pair, I can't buy it neither since the depreciation will is there...

Switzerland did not adopt EURO either. Both have major central banks (BOE & SNB).

they want to use euro in their country but they just don't want to free themselves from gbp . they could have done the merger long time back - for suppose 2007 if they really wanted to do it - its no option for them now and they want their currency to be much lower as it happens to be annoying factor for pound traders - not much technicals followed on those fall

Swiss has a different stories coz of their banking systems is anonymous and all remain highly confidential. Most of the richest people in the world has their money kept in swiss for that reason. if Swiss join EUR, they have to disclose almost everything which i think it is impossible for them because they need the world's richest people money to keep their economy. The swiss bank also make a huge profit from it as they offer very low interest and most of their money are kept for long term and sometimes indefinitely.

Good luck for you, i just had a different view from yours. I think, there is no reason to buy EU at the moment but there are many of reasons to sell Euro.

wow bro just get in and read this,..is very sad very worried post.

couple point for you to consider.

dont worry about your kids, weak or strong gbp will not be of concern to them

ecomomy and currency are not corelated, sounds crazy but its not

strong gbp importers happy exporters sad, and vice versa

Big part of economic development is foreign investment, strong gbp foriegn investor pull out their funds, and vice versa

Depreciation is common econmic tool, and bro, believe me people do care about gbp, they are watching like a hawk, waiting for good price, i will elaborate
simple forex, is trade with trend, say it is down, bears are micromanaging trades adding selling rallies , bulls are waiting for good price, rallies are idiot bulls, clever bulls are waiting watching looking for weakness, and when time is right they will pounce, remember bulls buying in a bear market are the idiots, now and then they will get lucky and catch a bottom, but generally they will jump ship early, the clever bulls are the one with upmost patience, the H&S,s are the smelly finger top or bottom pickers, the big players are waiting for the neckline break, this is why neckline beaks are easily the best trades to target, they are hard and fast, and the neckline has already been tested over over, for it to break it need heaps grunt.

If the neckline break is a "true" stop hunt, and many are, you will get smashed, but your sl will be minimal, just flip and go with the continuation of original trend, and/or go back to patince mode and wait next reversal pattern to start printing

What am trying to say is not neccasarily depreciating, its just doing what pa does, move up down sideways

This is cable monthly, remebering usd has been in 4 year bull market, cable has actually been doing not that bad, presently building a "bull flag'
with the doom and gloom you worried about just a top to bottom of range, happening all the time, (does look nice tho, 3 months top to bottom, shit load months bottom to top is no time to be selling, but if it bo south I wont be all that sad, I do have long, but I have more shorts this little plop is barely 17% of the 2008 crash

Last time this level was good support was 1996, almost when cook was visiting us I actuall want it to fail tho, I not bigotest, because I want our $ do the same, weaker currency, foriegn investors floock here and money for everyone, strong currency everything tightens up, they take money out, govt tighten belts, stuff all money for anyone but the investors, fire sale gangs,
