Can someone explain me, why such a great down move given the good news?? I haven’t traded this pair in a while.... so I don’t understand this.

Hi bro
Lot of traders don't realize that every trade is inherently risky.There is no such a thing as "safe" trade.However when one sees someone placed a buy at the beginning of the trend that accumulates 700pips we tend to admire that.Well it took balls to buy that low.
That is why we got stop loss.
Will it get 2010 low 1.44? Anything is possible.It could also go up 1.65 in 2months.

Price seems to be sitting around mid support 3 now and there are 135 pips between today's high and low. Based on that I would be tempted to put a small long on right now if I hadn't already reached my daily profit target.

Precisely! Every time we pull pull the trigger we're putting it on the line. Maybe this puppy will see 4852 and lower but you can be at least pretty sure it's going to bounce at the 50% (5270). I have my buy limit there too bro.

We've been in this range of since roughly August 2010. I have no reason to assume we're breaking out until I See it.

Hmmm...you put your SL at weekly S2. I have mine at 5230. Perhaps I should re-think...

Quite clear to me .
Try this for starters .

 

  1. MPC considered cutting rates
  2. Possible that further monetary stimulus alone is insufficient
  3. Should consider other measures
  4. More targeted intervention needed to boost demand

Holy shit, this fucking pair. I wouldnt say im kicking myself, but I do dream of what would have happened if I acted on that pinbar on Jan 1st daily chart. I really wanted to, but was stuck in another trade at the time. Around one thousand pips :O

Watching 5270 closely.

Well said, and thats exactly why I wouldnt be too harsh on myself. Opportunities come and go, and if you're indiscriminate like me, can exist on many different currency pairs. That said, im someone to who tries to catch the big fish and ride trend reversals. Im going to try to get on this one when it shows signs of letting up.

So Total Labour Pool shrunk and Unemployed rate rose - both bad news
