It's looks good on chart, but I don't think USDJPY going to break even 92, not to say hit 88.32, based on what?
Just Jawboning? Looking to uptrend continue next week, if by your scenario YEN drops to 88.32 then Japanese stock
market will lose 1000 points at least and trigger deflationary pressure. So my bet USDJPY will hold 92.

Who ever saying that USDJPY at 95 to fast to high??? Never watch any chart other than 15 min.. Actually USDJPY is just came off
All TIME LOWS.. How about 147 high in 1999 plus 75 resent lows / 2? Well surprise, surprise Pivot is at 111 so it's laughable to say 95 is too high.
Is actually still too low on the long term Monthly chart, where 200 MA stick at 108.02.. So YEN no where near the middle, not to say top,
in many pairs.

EUR is not toast and EURUSD will hit $1.40 soon after G20. So, take your profit and run..

Sure, we are now all can post the charts after the fact.. Always looks good from right to left.
Otherwise it means nothing. You cannot draw chart on "who says what and when..". The trend is up
still, despite recent jawboning by BOJ stuff.

USDJPY by the way 121 ( and nobody cried then it's too high).. Free capitalism prosperity and BS just before Lehman collapse..

And watch CNBC now and find 3 differences and similarity.. Everything is the same except GOLD $1000/oz higher

OIL x2 but stock market near where it is now.. Of course "No Inflation" I guess we just dreaming..

To be honest, I don't really have an exact reason why I don't normally trade the other pairs. Sometimes I trade GBP/JPY but not often.

If you look at a weekly chart for AUD/JPY you will notice that it was basically stuck in a 1500 (73 - 88) pip range making it a pretty predictable pair to trade from 2009 - 2012. Now we have broken out of that 4 year range so after some sort of correction we should be seeing more movement to the upside. The same thing can be said for NZD/JPY.

AUD, NZD, and CAD could be classified as "risk on / risk off" currencies so when it is a "risk on" environment they typically move higher faster then the other pairs and they move faster down when it is a "risk off" environment.

My favorite pairs to trade are AUD/JPY, EUR/AUD, and even GBP/AUD. AUD is one of the funnest and most profitable currencies to trade in my opinion so I stick with what I know best.

So what are your projections for USD/JPY in the short, mid, and long term? What about EUR/JPY?

Are you here to just troll the forum and make comments like this or are you actually going to contribute something in regards to JPY as this is the "JPY Cross Pairs" thread?

As stated in my previous post. Please post a chart with your analysis which supports your projections for USD/JPY or any other JPY cross pair for that matter.

Of course the trend is up but do you see any type of correction / consolidation for the mean time?

Looking forward to your reply. Thanks!

P.S. When was the last time you traded the Venezuelan Bolivar? Probably never...so that doesn't pertain to us anyways and definitely doesn't belong in this thread.

I'm thinking we wouldn't see much action until after the G20


My first target for USDJPY is 108 200MA on Monthly ( but eventually 120 is a normal USDJPY range )



I don't know why are they crying about


week YEN now, it's still nowhere near the middle of it's usual range.



For EURJPY closer target is 128.72, see if we break that then 138.15



Euro LONG positions increased by 38% this week ( huge number)


USD Long positions Decrease (by 6%)
LONG YEN positions Decrease (by 7%)


Basically just small profit taken for now.


This week is all about Jawboning here and there..

Just want to say, I have been browsing this thread for a bit and I really like it. I am long EJ and GJ... TP for EJ is the same as yours, skyzer.

GJ I have at 61.8 fib from the 2008 downtrend which is at 169.154. I see the recent pullback as a corrective one and of course because of Aso comments. I am a buy and hold investor more than a day trader or swing trader. I have very large TP's and very wide SL's... These pairs have lost half their value since 08 and people think this move up is too rapid


Oh and I am looking at UJ longs starting tonight... TP would of course be 108.168.... Aso dumped those comments just in time for the big boys to buy before he announces further monetary easing at G20... It's right in front of us

Thanks for sharing your projections with us Skyzer. I too am looking for a pullback this week then more than likely a resumption of the uptrend the following week. For USD/JPY I've got 88.32 on my radar for possible resistance turned support assuming we get some sort of meaningful correction before moving higher.
