Interesting system but I have a question - if you think you can win 21 out of 40 trades with a 1:1 R:R, how many trades out of 40 do you think you can win with a 1:2 R:R?

You're basically shooting for a 2% return over 40 trades - couldn't you dramatically increase your profitability by increasing your R:R? Or will it affect your win/loss too much?

With 1:2 r:r my chances of success will be less than 30% about 10 or 12 trades in a batch of 40 trades. But I will need to switch the pair from Eur/USD to USD/JPY. Eur/usd is trending pair while USD/JPY makes good bounces.

The point is to manage risk and try consistent application of a method. Look at the downside of 1:2 r:r from risk management point of view. If one can achieve 50% success in a block of every 100 trades at 1:1 r/r, that percentage will go down to 25% with 1:2 r:r. Now at the rate of 1% risk per trade, the maximum drawdown for 1:1 r:r will stay at 50% plus spread, but for 1:2 r:r it could be 75% plus spread. With only 25% remaining in one's account for margin, one will have to trade longer term (more pip tp) for 1% gain or loss. This way, one may lose his/her edge.
