Nice trading albchr, I got my nuts handed to me playing long with harmonics, up 50pips, then lost it all in my sleep

I think there is a very decent chance of that TL rejection, will follow PA off it.

The 55 ema should be under the 200ema if/when we get down 5530 area

last time i gave an eye on GU price it was around 1.5750
wtf happened???
hope everybody is ok!!

meanwhile.... eyes on AUD pairs and crosses.
AUD USD near support. but not exactly the kind of situation where i would like to buy.
let's see.
in 2h.30m retail sales data.

eur aud main resistance short term 3086 then 3150.

Hoping somebody can help me with this...

I'm using FXCM MT4 to test a strategy and I have 3 opened positions (same pair) at this time all with different open prices. However, when I put in my SL and TP target for one of the trades it sets the same for all 3 of the trades.

Does anybody know how to disable this "automatic" SL / TP setting? I would like them to all have their own set SL / TP an exact amount of pips away from the open price.

That is truly odd. While I don't use FXCM, I do use IBFX, SigTrader and FOREX LTD versions of MT4 and I've never seen or heard of that situation. I went through all the options on each and don't see anything that would allow that to even be set up. Perhaps a bad install? Have you tried a re-install?

Any rouge EA's, objects or indicators on the chart?

Just a stab in the dark here.

Because of 1st in 1st out rule with some brokers/countries, if you are setting your SL and TP on any trade except your first trade opened, it maybe setting this same SL and TP levels for the first trade opened also as an automatic way of complying with these new rediculous rules that some have to trade by.

That's all I can think of.

It is strange, yes I've tried a new install. This didn't use to happen with their old MT4 but when they "upgraded" their platform this started happening. It never really bothered me until now as I am trying to test out a system using hard SL and TP targets.

No EA's or anything of that sort, only manual trading.

I'm talking with FXCM support now to try and figure this out. Thanks for the help though!

seems like they automatically merge your positions.
i don't use mt4 since ages so can't help on this.
try to contact acc.manager maybe can help

Yea talking to them is the best way. Perhaps they have a glitch in their upgrade or something. Hope you get it straightened out. It would drive me nuts!

Thanks brother. Sorry to hear about your trades though ... but I'm sure you'll get it back soon enough. 25 minutes till my daily closes. Sure would like to see a close below 50 for that TL test to work. Otherwise we may bounce up to 5900ish before a futher drop. As always, only time will tell.

yet fxcm should be one of best around!

Yes I like FXCM overall, they can't really do anything about this as it is out of their hands.
