The failed Off shoots of a resistance is a phenomenon that you get very close to a turn around. I have shown some examples on the daily chart. The 2 worst ones that happened was at 3914 on Oct 27 2011, which lasted only very few days and the other one was at February 21 2012 which only lasted a week.

So have to be carefull in situations where excitable momentum gets generated when a resistance breaks, which is close to several overlapping fib levels
I posted before where PA targeting next weeks and there were my TP, I only buy the dip

I wait down move next few days
My Buy limit down there depends on what i see it need to hit before next Wednesday start otherwise will b invalid to me.
At main time i will watch 1.36 and weekly close above or under it.

EUR/USD Outlook

The outmost limits of the crescent moon structure mentioned in the following post:

has been reached, although there was a shift required for the bottom blue circle in the above post to account for 100 pips above the 3600 zone.

The odd spike of 140 pips on NFP last friday from 3586 is the finishing touch for the upward movement which ended at 3710. Before most strong reversals either a Shooting star (uptrend) or a hammer (downtrend) will happen. Lack of either of these phenomenons in a trend is usually associated with the continuation of the trend.

The outmost bend of the crescent structure shown by the upper blue circle has also given rise to a nice pitch fork structure shown by the 3 lines (T1/T2/T3)

The movement downwards will begin shortly towards the "median band", shown by the dotted black lines.

T3 is a very important support level that will be the stepping stone to fruther down move.

It's Up trend and this is correction

It could keep carry on higher up the pitchfork, but I'm thinking it would go down too. On this chart, thus (the small black circle should be abit more to the right, but couldn't do it on the chart ) :-

breaking the red trendline and going down the left edge of the small black circle,
down round the right outside of the small red circle,
testing the black trendline and bouncing up between that and the underside of the small black circle,
going back up the other outside (right) of the small black circle.
to again touch the red trendline coming from bottom to upwards, and pushing higher to this recent high 1.3750

All this taking right up to the end of Feb 2013.

The same type of setup as on the blue and red circle on the left on the chart.......Or at least its what i think

Because there is no more room left to go more upwards, and the crescent structure will give away, causing a more than expected move downwards.

So this correction, in my opinion is the start of the correction on daily time frame.

agree with your two small circles where the green arrows are going down. Not quite so sure about a up movement after that.

EUR/USD outlook

There are several circles on the daily structure that denote the start of a retracement on this time frame. The first spot is the 3250-3270 zone, and the second spot is the 2870-2900 zone which is the 50% fibonacci retracement of the move from 2030 to 3715

EUR/USD Outlook

After a nice rejection at the lows of 3700 last Friday after NFP, this pair continues its downtrend, despite some hesitation yesterday between 3500 and 3560. The heavy black straight median line held the upward movement quite tightly at 3700.

The current diagram shows a shell like structure which basically show the main important support levels. Currently looking to the lows of 3376 for support.

2979 is a important support level which is on the boundary of a circle and the T1 line

The small red circles show how it tested the big blue circle, as it went around and underneath it, now for down and then strongly back up the blue.

On this chart to rest on the top green circle, around the 1.3300 mark, 23% retracement
if it moves down, and through the red trendline, looking to go to the inner green circle, to the 38% retracement and maybe further to the 50%,
For a strong move up again, after bouncing around in between the two green circles,
up through the red trendline and up the big blue circle,
This up the blue circle could be a very strong move up, as the blue circle will be steeper coming from the bottom.

(the blue rounded rectangles are areas of expected sideways movement)

yes, I agree with you. This is just some other stuff I added to your chart, which still implies a substantial low yet to come our way. Vicinity of Lower solid red line is where some action/reaction will occur.
