Hi rsq955,

Tom DeMark Trend Lines (TDTL's) are effective. Read the following article. You may also wish to obtain his book referenced at the end of the article.

Hi RSQ and welcome to the boards

Dial is pip on on his recomendation of DeMark's book. I have read "The New Science of Technical Anaylsis" back, forth, up, and down. It is dog ear'd, scribbled, and highlighted. Excellent read and though his concept of drawing trendlines from the more recent price action to historic price action seemed quite odd at first, it is profitable. . . and that is what counts. The method is certainly a whack on the side of the head, a paradigm shift if you will.

Happy trading,
Thom

Check with your local library and ask about interlibrary loans. Many trading books are available from other libraries and can be sent to your local branch. See if your library can locate Tom DeMark's book for you.

Tom Demark is fantastic w/ TL's. Read everything he writes. If you live in the Seattle area, I think he's coming to speak with my group sometime this year.

I found two e-books on trendlines, including a comprehensive
introduction to Tom DeMark that I've posted elsewhere.

I have found what I was looking for a while back. I appreciate you trying to help on such an old post. Thanks again.
