I think first we go to around 1.3530.
Than can retrace.

Been thinking to short EUR/AUD for positive swap but undecided where the direction is heading mid term. Correlations are whacked not it used to be making it difficult for cross pair. It's dicey just playing support and resistance even with a wide stop 200-300 pips. EUR up AUD down now. EUR/AUD can easily hit 1.3060. Will probably wait till end of February to build short positions.

EUR/JPY has been easier from Oct 2012 as the direction of Yen is crystal clear fundametally.

for me it would have touched 3490 but strange fall back from 3479. it was in average days range ie .. 130 pips.

now depends asian session on mony as usual monday is boring with average 40 - 60 Pips range

if opens gap up it may hit 3500

else opens around 3450 then we may expect to rech by 3390 downside max

this is my analysis. rest is market

I'm bearish but am holding out, also. Waiting to see if it goes up to around 1.2977 area before thinking of shorting it. But like you said, with the correlations all out of whack, I haven't touch it lately. But whenever it's not like that, you sure can get some nice pips on that pair.

I'm interested in shorting this one as well but I'm looking for closer to 1.3100 area, I want to see how it behaves around there.

this what was i saw..
greens were entries, reds were exits. last 4 trades for the day, i didn't post the 1st one here. the 4th one was kinda fucked up, pa moved exorbitantly slow after london close =(

weren't perfect ones. but at least made some profit from london-ny as well. not many pips, only 44pips. but i went heavy on them, extremely confident at these sorta patterns.
just my 2 cents..

Most definitely. This pair other than EUR/JPY gave me most pips last year shorting to the bottom with 10 pips interval postions. AUD was at the top range and E/U was rock bottom. Once the trend is confirmed is easy to make up the lost opportunities hence never being bothered with catching the top and bottom.

Yeah Aussie watch 1.04 support, if breaks, my entry longs are at 1.037, go back further and you see why, previous low, held strongly.

I am hoping for pullback on Euro Dollar and Euro Yen before entering long.

not expecting break of 1.34

edit: thats the alternative, but either way a retrace would be ideal in my books

fib retracement, channels, harmonics, trendlines, support and resistance, psych and technical s/r

i have also started using fib expansions.

edit: and fundamentals, see yen pairs

Thank you Sunilpawar, just take another look at these lines, the fibo from 1.637-1.1874. The price touched the 38.2/1.3464 and backed down. Could this be the real rejection line? . Anyway fiboclusters really works.

for me 3 month view is 1.3300

fundamentally analysts view is it should be around 1.3200-1.3300 as a resonable price

upper belt shows if rejection actually occur it should head back to 1.3300 levels by next week

weekly close above 1.3500 levels will open door to 1.3800- 1.4200 levels

silver down gold down
kiwi down cable down
aussie down
usd index down

only eur usd up

was expecting ny session may break the london session high but was in the same zone so only asian session will decide the direction of pair

by end of asian session if it is below 3420 i ll expect it to retrace to 3390

but if it is above 3480+ then us session is good enough for 3530 levles

but still personally i am bearish on this pair and will look for 1.3150 levels by end of this month if it doesnt break 1.3500 my bias short stoploss over 1.3550

Yup they come very handy i think if this tops holds, 33217 Bull/Bear line,on for me personally a buy signal, on the upside im still watchin 3595. man, noone told me yesterday that the water is so good.
