Shit nAV, it's just what I see as a technical scenerio in the longer term (years) based on my channel project I have posted a couple of times now (today also).

Don't worry about it mate. Fundies I guess tell me Ben basically promised QE until at least 2015. US debt is more than twice that of Europe. Will it last as the global reserve? I don't know and don't give a shit (I'm a little drunk).

I do believe this pair is constructed and not random. It's to damn precise.
Seriously mate, I use other tool to actually trade, it's just a topic/project of interest.

no problem bro..u gotta trade what u see..im just passing comment as u are one of the guys i look out for..can it happen i gues so but yur looking at a collapse of the USD scenero...the games is finished this year is about to get interesting!!

It's alright mate, I don't hold trades through drawdown, short stops on TL breaks, nothing else.

By the way, that bullish reversal off the monthly TL back in November, had no fib relevance back then right.

But now...

This is not me saying that means we are heading north, just that moves are not random.

on the more serious note since the 2008 crisis in US i simply dont see why GBPUSD would get back up to 2.0 :/
their only chance of getting up to 2.0 is by raising interest rates, but with Europe already in debt trouble.... Cameron wont allow their cost of servicing UK's Debt to rise.....

good point..nice chart the 50% fib bouncing and breaking the high to trigger long, once high is taken out is a school boy error trade..once the high is taken the previous high needs to hold as support!!..it didnt
its a lesson nothing in trading is set in stone..anything is possible..it was a trap imho (many simply would see the pattern and buy because the previous high went..trading sometimes is more complicated)

i dont know what will happen..and dont care either (i find this a concern ) but chart has given me indications which fit with my edge
trade safe!

btw:- the fib u have is wrong..u used the recent high to get the 50% which would be impossible as the recent high formed after the bounce..it needed to be b4 to be used as extrapolation tool

Yes, my observation was not a trading signal, just that this pair is so precise with it's fibs, more than others.

US debt though astronomical enjoys the fact that US is still the Global Reserve Currency, so in a way they get the benefit of getting away of Debt....

also US being global reserve currency means commodities like Gold are traded in USD :/
i suppose US is just the big evil that people pay notice at, but you cant really poke it...

whereas GBP... well.... GBP is manipulated nuff said...
but GBP doesnt have as much benefit as the US do with it being the global reserve currency...

How does being reserve currency help its debt situation?
I don't know much about this.

I know they can print, but they still have to pay that printed money back with interest.

being the reserve currency means... that Majority of global trade has to be settled in USD... so dollar demand is always there as long as US is the Reserve Currency....
USD will always get demand for international trade settlements... there are talk of RMB taking over as the Reserve Currency but that'll take some time..... and i dont see it happening in the next 5 to 10 years.... as far as i see... USD can enjoy uncompromised printing and the world just couldnt do anything about it for the next 5 to 10 years...
but trust me when i say this...
they day USD loses that Reserve Currency Status to the likes of China.... Their DEBT will become a focus for USD hammering....
but that day is way way in the future....

Right, so they can keep piling up unlimited debt by accessing the Fed credit card to service current debt (how fucked up is that by the way), until they are stripped of their reserve status.

At which point, US/Canada/Mexico will merge under the "Amero" as per the Bush junior plan right.

Not too many people know about what that guy did when in power.
