I agree it might very well retest that area.. But should it meet no support, I think it can go to new lows.. Question is; in what time frame can it tumble that low? I was eyeing that level within a weekly candle. But can this move nearly half a year's range within 1 week?

Not this week.. at least not the way I see it. Liquidity is thin. Participation is very low, and the fiscal cliff deal is a dud... so I don't expect too much more USD bashing for now.
Remember also it is NFP week. A good number will boost USD

Yes. We'll have to wait and see how that number turns out VS expectations. Considering it's measuring the deceitful month of December, perhaps we're in for a surprise result. Which would give us some nice insight on whether or not employment figures will in fact correlate in tandum

hi,PT and every one,have a look at this chart of MP.today morning in asian session and london market,it created a 'P' which is basically market is rebalancing with short covering rally and weak shorts taken off the market and late afternoon today market retraces which appears to be new fresh shorts entering market and maintaing thier dominance of the market.i was basically expecting market to go up a bit more to 1.3330-60 but market has its own mind.infact i took a small long position but obviously i covered it with small loss.i am expecting tomorrow market to be balance profile and probably on friday or monday market to really show its hand.i am still holding my shorts but had to cut them down bit becos of my lack control on emotions,but thats ok becos such is market and life.regards

Sorry for not replying sooner, but I was out of the office for the holidays and just read your message now. FXCM has mobile version of our platform. It does not include all the advanced features of the desktop version such as trade automation and backtesting. But you will be able to use charts, indicators and all the common order types. You can download FXCM Trading Station mobile for Android from the Google Play Store. Let me know if there is some additional functionality you are after.

Yes I am still net short. I hedged over the holidays to protect my 1.3275 BE point and made a truckload in the process from the long positions.

I still feel that this projection is in play. As always, time will tell if we just paint a right inverted shoulder, or if we head to new lows. The USD is gaining on two fronts. First on the prospects of the US leading the recovery and second on bond market re-positioning.
