I strongly disagree with you. Sure, He was probably "the classic arrogant Euro centric bureaucrat" but he is considered the key actor and factor why the Euro and Euro Zone survived. From a strictly monetary policy he was the best central banker of the last decade not only my opinion but among the consensus of experts.

IMO he was actually ahead of the curve the whole time, he was the 1st one to mention bond buying to avoid the bleeding, proposed having a stronger banking regulation...
Not only that, he was the first to adjust interest rates to fight future inflation back in 2011, that is something that all the other Central Bankers have forgotten as they are too busy padding the balance sheets of the big boys so the cash can be used to inflate commodities and artificially affect T prices.

I can't wait for them to start unwinding, that will be the trade of the century. People keep talking about bubbles, this bubble will be the mother of all of them.

Trichet was very clear that it is not the Central Bank's role to fix the problems of politicians, Draghi and Bernanke alike are wading too deep into politics and are ignoring their true role as Central Bankers.

after the horse was out the barn. hell i would pee on a ragging fire if need be. its much safer to keep the matches from the children through supervision. and not let them pile the furniture up in the middle of the floor and roast marshmallows. then say "children dont do that", "if you do it one more time i will tell your mother". "do it again and i will get mad".. "now you have done it! i am calling the fire department"... "oh no!" "we dont have a fire truck" "lets ask germany and france to buy us one".. " lets get Germany to set an election so we can get a truck" "oh well see you later i am retiring"

Then, it will come the big move; up or down.

A lower close today would indicate a reversal. Anyhow, I'm all bears unil next week.

I'm still good for about 80 more pips till account gets blown to bits.
