i had the signal to short CHFJPY the same day i entered my EURJPY and GBPJPY if you recall....
if i entered the short and still holding chfjpy id have my take profit target down at 86 call me insane...

i will try long at ending of this h1.
but better give an eye on faster TF......
the down move is steep.

nearest main support is 5950 (monthly)

i don't see any H&S actually.
what i see is a HUGE bearish daily candle.
must be very careful.
if up near 6080 again... could be better short.
maybe tomorrow's daily pivot will tell something more about!
actually longs are good just for a pullback but end of the day not easy to imagine more tha 10-15 pips.

just opinion....

My long term chart shows a possible bounce here... renko, although issued a short signal for a scalp, I would have liked to get a confirmation arrow there. It is not showing up yet. We could also have hidden bullish divergence forming. GU may very well retrace 20 to 40 pips here... before a possible continuation south...

I'm leaving it alone for now.

Well we'll see where we going tomorrow. Tonight seems to be finished....Tomorrow could reach again 6080 possibly but obviously staying under 200MA (M30). If we go above , dont know whats gonna happened..London Bulls will bring some relief hopefully.

(How can you became a normal member rahter than junior?)

Though I was not long but I was waiting to enter some more shorts in the 6140-75 area. Well.

I still think unless we close below 6060 today, we are not seeing any signs of long term down movement. If we do close below 6060 today, I think we may see 6010 tomorrow. Tomorrow (weekly) close if below 6030 could mean we see 1.59 in next week otherwise 6140-75 is still a possibility. I'll short more if we close any daily below 1.6. Cheers.

you maybe right due to the over stretched range... However... its just London closing we had....

Danyboy - we all started as junior members - we all crawled first... the more you post, the bigger you will get. I have the same problem - if I get to 10 000 posts my name will change to grandpa member.

Yes - FXtyrant - it is a process of constant learning.

By the way - let us do this exercise on displaced Moving averages.. In theory, this leg that started at 1.6127, should conclude at 1.6007, still studying HURST theory as a sideline.. I attach a simple chart of the theory... will be interesting.

Now that's what I call a short squeeze

Personally, I think longs need to be very careful here, we are retesting the broken ascending TL and back into that damn channel.

I got home from work, saw the spike up to 6127 then saw price resting above 1.61.
Thinking NY will send it north, I closed out my short hedge (still learning)...

Oh well...

Currently hedged again to save my $800 a$$

I am still bullish medium term at the moment, but see a decent reason for continuation to 5980.

The monthly however is also interesing, not sure of it's longer term relevance, but maybe they are going to tax the rich more next year afterall and they are clearing all their stock positions now?



We are in a tight spot, let's see how she plays out...

usually i use the Moving averages as point of targets for the divergence... usually the Moving average may cut short on my profit but profit is still a profit, and moving averages present a higher probability that they get reached so its safer way of trading for me to get out at the appropriate value at the appropriate time.

Since breaking out of nAV's famous thick purple 16 month channel (damn that's a high time frame),

I see Ben's intentions, or at least I think I do...

Break/retest, break/retest, rinse and repeat lol...
