I have worte them a mail. Courious what they will come up with!? For some reason those events are not recored into my mt4's today's ".log" file. How about yours? From the yesterday's ".log" file I can see some connection failures, but not in today's..
i have it in todays log aswell ... it reoccurs way to often.. a nogo for a broker...

Mine's too. I'm trading at that time. quickly contacted the support and said that it happens too often. They said that they have started the investigation already.

Does anyone have a decent MT4 broker backup?

i do agree that there r a few disconnections too,it will be a shame if Armada is not reliable,cos they started off with v.good reputation....now???

I think that the spreads at LMAX are great but they have a very high minimum deposit and I dont like their in-house platform.

Yes, i would like a few features added to their platform as well. For example, the option to put in a stop-loss automatically when you enter into a position. Or default position-sizes per instrument. Or a VWAP based market depth display. But all in all i can live with it. Above all else, it is very reliable, and that's the most important thing.

Looks like Armada finally switched back to LMAX. Since today quotes and spreads are exact the same again. Probably i will trade again with Armada when it stays that way.

Anyone have any experience with prospreads.com? Spread betting broker based in Gibralter, offering DMA, probably the only spread betting company to do so, which is great if you want to trade forex, commodities and indexes etc, offering more instruments than LMAX and tax free if you reside in the UK. Very difficult to find any reviews on the web though. It has dual regulation from both the Financial Services Commission Gibraltar (www.fsc.gi), and the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority (www.gra.gi). Need to check out how much they will bail you out with should the company go bust.

And here it is: if you are interested, max payment by the Gibralter authorities is just 20k euros! (and only then it will be 90% of the funds you deposit). But as funds are placed into a client account (presumably this is segragated from their own funds and is therefore fully protected, same as fsa (UK) requirements).

This is not a server, it is direct internet access through equinix, I see some routing is different now - via exponential-e london metro network.

If you're in an area with the infrastructure you can get a 100 mbps fiber line for around £600pm
