what i know is, as long as yesterday low is safe, the current pattern remain a recovery from bottom (1.5830 bottom), now of course the super momentum (the classic short-squeeze) do happen at the end of the recovery, and i think we may are getting near the end, so.. in this situations the market tend to have some divergence that may tempt traders to go against the trend, but it can be dangerous.
I think premature is to try to call a top now, oh of course if yesterday low don't hold the recovery pattern will be broken, but for now everything looks perfect, so the plan don't change.

look ichimoku - daily : kumo twist from bullish to bearish and we're in kumo still. we just get bounced from the bottom of the kumo...maybe for a bit shock before further down ...........? dunno exactly, we're still in kumo AND we're in (around) 50 fibo of 2011 , just about a month to go ( welcome 2013 )

Another HL on 4hr at yesterday's 5994 lo sees a with 4hr general opa uptrend move to a slightly HH at 6050 (50% 6271-5827) before the supply came in. yesterday's daily candle bullish. 4hr remains in a general opa uptrend as does 1hr - but it's 'messier on that t/f.

I agree it can go a little far sometimes, but context is never a bad thing. Cable may be sending ambiguous signals, for example, and somebody pointing out that EU is near an important resistance level, let's say, can help clarify.

Also I find I hardly have time to keep up with Cable Update, without having to check the forum for a load of other pairs as well.

I'd suggest FOCUS on Price Action (PA) & Technical Analysis (TA)

Many traders who Trade & focus on GBP/USD Pair only (without Comparison with other Currencies) I did, in 1 years...
My opinion, GBP/USD a Special Pairs and need more Attention. And Not easy to Trade
Always looking the GREAT, never left GOOD Point...

I completely agree. The instance I cited, when cable's giving mixed signals, is about the only one where other pairs' action might help you lean one way or the other. But strictly, you're right - all you need to know is in the Price, and its movements. Guess sometimes I'm just looking for a change of scenery...

although i have closed my half long at 6042 but i am not in to the shorts yet and holding remaining longs for higher prices if any

because traders are selling due to eur pairs are getting little hampered but but pound is showing no weakness atm


EUR/GBP is down so the pound is up daily close above 6055 is bullish break out supp/res trend line break out and can go as high as 6140

As you can see, a very clear bullish flag has formed on Cable's 4-hour chart. Bullish flags are usually considered as continuation patterns. After a strong move up, price stalls and consolidates as buyers take a moment to catch their breaths before staging another bullish rally. Since I'm already long i'll cover my positions just incase the flag fails.
