I, too, believe in 'this'. But how much of a reversal 'this' represents, I have no clue.

I am currently short from 16045, which will surely be good for 45 pips to the big figure, but could extend all the way to sub-1.58 by the end of the month. Many would say this is very unlikely - which is exactly the reason I think it may happen.

Yes. Shorted at 106.94 sl 107.10 never traded this before. Took punt after your post Was long on aud/jpy from 84 to 86. was short on gbp/usd @ 1.5946 sl 1.6 triggerd. Short again at 1.6046 sl 1.6060.

like the chart and the idea is good, it will go down and we can see 1.58 or near

Actually, retrace to 15910-20 seems quite possible, from where progress will be hard - a lot of s/r action there in the last fortnight.
I'll have to decide at that point who's in the driving seat - a bull or a bear.

you're fast man... my PO triggered 5 pips lower than yours.. very tiny position for just a test position. as i also think it might make it to 108 area as you said so, since high drawdown = very tiny position.

reason: due to weekly old support level.

seems like it's a good thing i closed my short yesterday for just 35 pips only (my entry was 5935 & 5960, closed @ 5930) . just wanna make sure the TL break first before reenter but didn't take any long since i was expecting a breakout.

thanks for your thoughts mate, that's the reason why i talked a lot regarding support & resistance.. what good does the support/resistance if we don't react to it, right?. for an ideal position, i will normally enter on the retest but position as i'm currently in (EJ) which is more like a gamble (since no confirmation yet), i will only risk 2% or less ( as test position )

well, if worse come to worse, i will always have SL in any of my positions.. i would certainly won't let the losses loose..

Well for me its been a fckd up week, anyways lets see what happens next week.
I am still stuck with my bears who seem to be either deep asleep or apparently high on some really hard kind of drugs.

Im not sure about the news, because Im purely technical.

That daily close yester suggested a turn at the 38.2 fib, and I even nibbled at it taking a small postion short. I still had my doubts though, hence the small trade and tight stop.

But looking at weekly, looks like some good juice in this north train, however theres a trendline on the daily that suggests otherwise.

Regardless though im looking for a long on sunday.

Weekend review

Bullish Daily and weekly candle closes.with Friday's pip range exceeding both it's Daily R3 and indeed weekly R3 just closed ! Although Friday achieved 180% of the 20 day atr, the week still only managed 87% of the 20 week atr notwithstanding Friday's large pip range (relative to recent times !- ie the 20 day atr was 67 pips as of Thursday's close !! - although Friday's pip range will have increased that doubtless.)

So, Weekly remains in a classic opa range (opa - overall price action fractal price swing hi/lo analysis) but a strong bullish close off last week's hammer-esq weekly candle.

Daily has printed a H at friday's hi (althgough not a fractal swing there yet) above the last LH of it's general opa downtrend. This t/f therefore remains in a general opa downtrend but that H could be the 1st warning of a change in opa conditions in that t/f from the current opa downtrend ? (or not.)

4hr is in a general opa uptrend with Friday's hi coming just above a previous 4hr/daily swing hi zone @ 2 x fibs of the major swings down to 5827.

1hr too is in a general opa uptrend and the potential support/RBS (resistance becomes support) areas beneath Friday's close including fibs and trend lines are shown on that chart.

G/L for week ahead.
