I disagree. I wish I didn't.

There is also an intense effort to identify individuals who are likely to "get something done" ...in other words, cause the cronies trouble: Stellar Wind and many similar programs.

These people will be rounded up and put on ice (if they're lucky).

Then, the rest will do what they always do: they're thinking will fall into line with what is comfortable (ie: cognitive dissonance will kick in) and all those guns you're talking about won't matter a bit.

I don't know if you are talking serious or you are following the joke ? In any case, and just for the record - I was merely joking and expressing my frustration not on EURUSD level, but on the recovery level expected for Greece and the entire PIIGS countries. This finance Minister and his fellow's comments got even Merkel to fed up with them..

Most of the sci-fi stuff is just that... traveling across country recently I've heard unbelievable stories about how the government can track you. It's all crap.

This is what I think will happen: basically nothing will change; people will just be forced to realize for the first time in their life what has going on all along. We don't live in the Nanny State, we live in CRONY NATION! Everything from the courts to IRS to general political issues are governed by cronyism.

So how does that turn into something that involves state-run camps and hollow point bullets?

When the banking system is completely wrecked, the government can't borrow anymore, and food can't be found because transportation and infrastructure have collapsed, the people most prepared (who've horded the most money) will take steps to survive. Most of them will be cronies and they will do ANYTHING to hang on to what they've got.

They're the one's who love the insane number of laws in the USA and who profit from corporate prisons that house all the "law breakers". A similar situation exists with the constabulary.

All the cronies from politicians to police to generals will work together the protect THEMSELVES. It won't be pretty... but it won't be something that happens with a bang. It will happen slowly and people will have little knowledge of it because the internet likely won't work so well any more.

THEN, it will slowly dawn on everyone (many probably wanted some kind of special favor from the government at some time) what cronyism really is.
