Yeah I know, I just think its best to steer clear of a collapsing empire. Japan is a very nice place except it's collapsing too. And China I agree- run by unpredictable commies and with a huge culture of corruption.

The market is pretty long Euro's, has been for a while. Don't know why the longs won't get out. Still lots of stops to hunt down below and lots of reasons go there.

Carney's comments were the latest (over-interpreted) excuse to go down... way overdone and more to come.

Here's the thing about America(ns). From time to time they do fuck up in a major way. However when they set their mind onto something they'll get it done. No if and buts.. The tide is turning here, and I would not go betting against them.

Who says I think my country is an utopia ? It's run by leeches as most other places and its quite poor also and with no regard for private property. So no, once I get rich (since I have that outcome in sight now) I won't be remaining here.

Ok. I guess we'll have to see. It's not like I relish the prospect of widespread generalized war and destruction that would follow the collapse of the US. But all countries on the decline are most confident just before the fall and the US had quite a run already.

It might since it entered the ponzi economy much later. But it has a huge demographic problem and on top of that people are leaving to work elsewhere. Makes you wonder at the kind of tax pressures that can create.

I've been watching this all my life. Intensely. I see a rise of cronyism that just seems unstoppable.

There are signs that this is becoming imbedded in the cultural; especially: recent orders for unbelievable numbers of hollow point rounds that can only be for use against civilian populations and preparations to sequester groups in camps.

It seems to me that there are plans to ensure that those who may "set their mind onto something they'll get it done" as you say, don't get a chance to do anything.
