Gona go watch a movie so see you guys in a couple hours or so.... Expect pullbacks but ill be having my trigger finger ready on those damn short, the closer it is to the bearish trend the more im gona short hard.

I was reading Mr kings statement about how future generations are going to feel the pain of today's excesses for a long time to come, but I won't let that put the brakes on QE.

He then went on to dismiss suggestions about cancelling debt, (he thinks that would be "DANGEROUS").

Cancelling Debts be Dangerous?? Dangerous to who?? to the PUBLIC or to his own well being?? im pretty sure he has a gun pointed towards his head by the BOE Board of directors to say Cancelling Debt is Bad....

And then some muppet traders on the AUDUSD thread said People should be humble...
Well sorry but in times like this im gona fight my way up, with my grits and teeth and claw to try to excel.
So to hell with the muppet traders on AUDUSD thread....

nah, I did the same thing. I had a little read...had to seeing as he was speaking not far from here and being mildly amused by the 12 pip spike. He played up to us Welsh a bit, Cwm Rhondda from Rhossili, brought a little lump to the throat....but beneath all that, nothing really just a load of bollox.

Can't believe it took you that long to realise the thread is full of muppets apart from the odd member like jplazard. His thread is worth reading if you want to know what is going on in Oz. Very informative and knows his fundies!

Let me throw a spanner in the works for you... What is the trend on the weekly? I mean, we have come from 1.53 so the trend is up right? So if you are trading with the trend... why are you shorting the shit out of it?

"A trend is your friend"... until it bends!

I am not trying to throw you off here... I am just trying to get you to think about what a trend actually is, because doesn't each timeframe have its own trend?

Hopefully some food for thought!

Yeah, all expenses paid, very high profile targets and 50 percent bonus if it lasts 3 weeks.

Mate, I am not trying to mess with your head here! I agree with your sentiment and as per my earlier link to my chart you can see both of my TPs, although the last one will be trailing as the final target of 1.54 might be optimistic, but you never know!

All I am saying is think about what an actual trend is and how you define the trend and where you think the trend will end because they give you the best risk to reward ratios.

On the monthly and weekly charts, I don't see GU in a trend... I see it in a pennant formation or range between ~1.40-1.70 with the most recent range between 1.53-1.63. Still plenty of pips to be had in a range.

What I am trying to say is that your definition of a trend is different to my definition of a trend which differs to someone else's definition. We are all looking at the same chart but we all have our own interpretation of it.
