I'm Buy @1.6040 SL-1.6009 TP-1.6100 , But I may want to jump off the trade at 1.6080 ish. Keeping fingers crossed & Lets hope for the best!

Here is dollar index on renko chart. Not clearly in short side, but do have a bear candle formation. So if its going down "Great", if its not .. I'll only tolerate till it decides to close a bull candle to exit GBP/USD buy in a loss. No worries either way, max SL for me is 31 pips soo...

banks putting out recommendation to the public must be treated like any other recommendation to the public.... never to be trusted.
besides i wonder what BNP's previous recommendation on the GBPUSD was... it probably never got reached before this recommendation came out...

yes bro. I remember one shitty recommendation of nomura to buy nzd at 0.8180 and stoploss was 0.8100 and that got it and then their target was achieved. 1.68 anybody can give. i will say 1.7. what is the definition of long term here is my next question

I actually still don't fully understand the mechanics of forex, but don't banks lose money when we win? This is a serious question as I still don't fully understand the other side of the trading process.

I'm curious if many traders have seen many good bank recommendations (trade reco's that have worked well).

Out of curiosity only, I check out the FF news items, recommendations and other "suggestive" material in the FF news section, and honestly, I kid you not, I think I would be quite a successful trader if I just did the opposite of what was being suggested, recommended or alluded to.

you are rite. but their orders are in millions and urs in 1000 or probably 100's. for you losing 1000's is a big deal. for them losing millions is nothing. they don't trade with their money. it is client's money. their margins are on the spreads and on the client recommendation newsletter services/tips

Thats what im saying... Its not really the retail traders the Big banks are after... its the hedgefund guys and the speculators....
in this world of forex....
Big Banks are the biggest liquidity to trade, banks are probably trading at leverages 1:1 or 1:2 or even 1:5 , but hedge funds are the guys trading around 1:20-1:50.... Now ...
When banks make recommendations like these they attract both Retail Traders (at leverage 1:50 - 1:500) and these Hedge Fund guys... The Bigger the leverage, the bigger they make big money because leverage in essence is trading borrowed money.... while you are trading 1:200 someone is losing 1:199 out of your leverage....

Anyways.... big banks are up and against the 30% of the market which is the hedge funds and retailers....
so they put up recommendation to try to trick enough of the 30% of people to fall into their trap...

dont you ever realise you make good money when you do exactly the opposite of what the banks recommend in the public??
