Hey Niktrad, I hadn't thought about it like that but it makes sense and worth keeping an eye on as with most corelations.
Another way to look at 'shared pivots' is when both EU & EJ hit similar/different pivots at the same time: Currently EU is at S1 + WP support and EJ is at DP + 80%ATR support.
Will they both turn up?
(i don't know)
But with Stox from M5 to H4 in OS, let's see if we get a Long Genesis signal in the near future for a possible decent bounce.

what should prevent me from taking those long trades this morning (EURUSD, AUDUSD)? See vertical lines with red arrows.

Any advice welcome.

Firstly,I just want to say hello to everybody here. This is my first post here in this thread and forexfactory too. I'm looking forward to learn from you guys and contribute to this thread too. I've been lurking around forexfactory for a year and read many trading systems like: Sonic R,THV system,X-man simple system,the art of trading MAs,... They are brilliant system and there are many generous and kind people out there too. But I just can't get a hang of these systems.1 good trade and then 1 bad trade from time to time make me frustrated.I know that indicator and system is not a way to get money with just 1 click because "the Holy Grail " is the trader himself. And that why I've spent the last 3 month with babypips school to learn PA,S&R,Divergences,TL,... and I know I still have a lot to learn everyday. And I recommend it to everyone out there who want to learn how to trade,who want to make a serious business in the future,spend your time to learn the basic of forex instead of going every thread and ask for their template or indicator or EA. This is my thought about forex and I don't mean any offense.
3 days ago,I found out about Genesis Matrix Trading and I really want to learn about it. I know I can't be indecisive anymore and I will stick with this until I can make it work and make consistent profits from it. I know I have to take action,join the community and stop lurking around.
Lastly,I want to say thank you to RJ,Cody,Ohammond,Yelena,Xaphod for the great system and thread. I wish you guys every success in business and a happy life. And I hope this thread will be bigger in the near future. Cheers.

On both occasions, M15 Stox coming down from OB territory: you really want both to be moving in the same direction and not to be in 'conflict' with one another (ideally M15 Stox will have gone into OS territory too when attempting a Long)

Plus I dont think you have all the Genesis indicators.

You dont have MTF arrows, MTF stoch, or THV4

Those three on the 15M where crying out for a short

On my previous post the brown line on my stoch indicator is based on 60 min, the blue one based on 5 min.

On this post the stoch lines are normal. red = 15 min; blue= 5 min.

So your explanation is obvious for the AudUsd. But not so clear on the EURUSD (for me).

Hi joker

Before entering any trade I always check the situation with the 15m genesis matrix for confirmation of the 5m signal. I like to see at least 3 lights on the 15m in agreement with the 5m matrix. In both cases on your chart, the 15m matrix showed 3 short coloured lights and only 1 long colour so no trade for me.

Joker, I agree with Oli, and Scarlet Pipe.

A different MTF Stoch may make it clearer for you. It is Xaphod's Stoch MTF that you can find here. With either M15 stoch, it isn't really rising much, if at all, so there is disagreement between the M5 and M15.

You can add a second Genesis Matrix for the M15 to your chart to see what Scarlet Pipe has mentioned, without having to flip time frames.

And finally, you have fractals on your chart which are showing you a series of lower highs. I've drawn a rough "line of best fit" here. A series of higher highs would be a good indication for a long entry.

Taken together, these would have helped you decide on a higher probability entry.

In a way, you have answered your own question...
I know that it's not part of core-Genesis, but I like to know what the higher TFs Stox are doing for overall direction although they have their disadvantages too (M30 a bit too close to M15 & H4 too far for decent corelation with M5 matrix, so I generally keep an eye on the H1 Stox, and in the EU case the H1 Stox was ------> see previous post.)
Yes in your example the M15 Stox was low but if you want higher probability trades, wait until it has gone fully OS/OB and has started to turn up/down.

Edit: (see Cody's previous post) ...also, by the time the 2nd Long M5 signal was generated, the MTF Arrow (15) had already turned Short (the 3 down magenta arrows on his chart). Do a search and find it in this thread

GU seems to be trying to form a bottom, right on S2.

Typical, tries a fake below of 2 candles then reverses

This is extremely helpful.

I have it set at 4H, 1H, 15M & 5M

The best trades, and extremely reliable are when all arrows are red/green.

Threre have been plenty of those trades today
