Bill Williams is a quack, one of many who position themselves where the money is: training rather than trading.

I suppose everyone will have a different experience. When I first read his book I didn't quite connect with the psychological and mental points he was writing about. It wasn't until later and when I looked at the system in its entirety that it made some sense.
I've had profitable results, even with very small accounts I was impressed with how he laid out money management aspect of the trades. I think other systems fail in this regards. Other systems will point out optimal entry and indicator signals. Not many will show you how to manage the trade and especially when to exit. The exit is sometimes where other systems get killed. They'll be profitable, stay in a trade too long, and not only give back all profits, but sometimes take big losses. I have an old statement on my site where I traded a micro account and consistently had a profit factor between 3-17 with drawdowns less than 10% The first half of the year I lost half the account, the 2nd half of the year I traded Chaos, made back all the loses and doubled the account.
I did use some Elliott Wave, but the point is the Chaos Method can be traded as is, or it can be coupled with another system to support analysis of the overall trend. It can be used to trade with the trend, countertrend, short time frame long time frames, all under one consistent framework. There is time involved, and while I like other systems that keep it simple, sometimes being too simple leaves a system incomplete and vulnerable in changing markets.
It's not for everyone, it's just a matter of whether it'll suit and fit your style of trading. Anyways, what matters int he end is results, consistency, safety and profits.
